Jalapeno's Mexican Bar & Grill

Food is good, ambiance is good, but you better order a plain lime margarita..if you order a large margarita and want peach or strawberry, anything but lime, it's 8.99 plus .99 for Fresa (flavor).I have never been anywhere that charged extra for "flavor"...plain old strawberry. I have heard of restaurants starting to charge for every little thing...we'll, it's time to stop going out I guess, smh

Supper there last night. You have a feeling of being in Mexico with a great wait staff and beautiful hand painted furniture . Our dinner was top of the line with very authentic Mexican dishes.

The food is very tasty and generous portions. The service is good and friendly. There plenty of parking available.

Jalapeno's exceeded expectations. My wife and I we typically judge a Tex Mex restaurant based on their salsa and Jalapeno's salsa is very good! I also got one of the combo plates that consisted of ground beef enchiladas and a crunchy beef & cheese taco. They were good but the rice and beans stole the show here. They also brought out some salsa that you can add to your food, which I did, and it added a nice kick and made it better. I will try something different next time but looking forward to going back.

We tried to make a reservation for 10 people and were told we would have to pay $15/hr to call in a waitress to cover our group??? Talk about turning away a great lunch hour group and lost business! REALLY?????

Fast and fresh! Serving sizes are pretty big bring your appetite.. we ordered a few appetizers too

Went for lunch and it wasn't too busy. The lady that seated people looked like she didn't want to be there. Smacking on her gum trying hard to stay idle as much as possible. She got my order wrong in the process. The other waitress had to get my refill cause the other wasn't around and she was friendly. Food was ok but they were right on the carne asada. I had a torta. It had more lettuce/tomato/avocado/ sour cream than carne asada. ShI was disappointed and will not go back. There's too many Mexican restaurants in the area to deal with bad service and sub par food.

Last time our group ate there we had 4 small plates brought to the table for appetizers and 3 out of the 4 plates still had food on them after being washed. I requested another 3 be brought to replace the dirty dishes which the waitress did bring and again 1 out of the 3 brought to the table was disgusting and still had food stuck to it. I lost my appetite and chose not to eat my lunch. If the dishes they bring you are dirty with nothing in them I could only imagine what the plate looks like under the food. I never went back and informed my team don't bother asking for me to join if they ever decided to go back. Which from the looks of it they haven't. I know the workers in the area just want a good hot meal after a long days work but at least it could be within the FDA's requirements. If this was New York where they require inspections they would probably rate a D rating to an F.

We went to Jalapeno's for the first time today. I ordered their Chicken Quesadillas .The chicken was shredded and tasted marvelous! I especially loved their pico and guacamole! I loved their service, Hispanic music, and their whole look with their booths and tables. We would definitely return for another meal here!

The food here is usually pretty good. sometimes you have to wait minute to be served and some of the staff are not as focused on the customers as they are their cell phones. Nice place and conveniently located
