Jack's Barber Shop

Came home to Corpus for vacation to visit family and needed to find a barbershop that cut legit hair. I'm not too picky with my haircuts but know when I get a great one! I found this barbershop near my parents house and thought I'd give it a try. I found it awesome that they opened at 8 AM and even better that the haircut was a decent price considering others charge $20+. The atmosphere of the barbershop was nice and parking was decent. I was greeted right off the bat from Jack (who I believe is the owner). Robert (another barber that worked there) later came in greeted me and cut my hair. He was polite and did a phenomenal job cutting my hair. I highly recommend this barbershop for anyone who is interested in a great haircut and a good experience.

Awesome place for a haircut. Fast. Professional and welcoming. Reasonably priced too for a straight razor cut. I'll definitely come back. I was almost at a loss trying to find a good barber in Corpus. They are walk-in only and straight up.

I will not be returning to this establishment, it has been a very hit or miss experience for me each time I have gone. This previous visit was possibly the worst haircut I've ever experienced anywhere. I asked for a fade on my sides and back, also to take off half an inch from the top, in response the barber asked 1? Or half? I responded with 1/2 considering I had just said 1/2 an inch. Turns out he didn't get the fade part nor the 1/2 inch part and instead just started with a 1/2 clipper at the top of my head and went down from there. I would say something before this happened, but he started at the TOP of my head with it so it was already a lost cause. It wouldn't have been so bad had he given me a proper shaved sides cut, but that ISN'T what happened. Now I'll have to wait months for my hair to return to a length that isn't an embarrassment to be wearing around so now it's hat day everyday until my next haircut, somewhere else.

Hands down best fade I've received in a long time. These guys know how to cut!!! Genuine, honest and skilled Barbers! I seriously have the hardest hair to cut due to multiple cow licks plus thinning & patches of white hair. I've never been more impressed walking out of a true barbershop feeling the way I did leaving Jack's Barbershop. From out of town? No worries, go see them! Local? These barbers care NOTHING about their customers' health and well being!!! There was a sign on the door that warned customers to wear masks, but they DON'T!!! When I realized it and brought it to their attention, their answers were that they "don't believe in it", "has no symptoms"; the other one "trusts his immune system". When I reminded him that his customers' immune systems might be affected, he got really defensive and just didn't care. If they don't care about a customer's health, they probably don't care about giving a bad cut either. Enter at your own risk.

I almost dislike what an awesome barber shop this is haha! My son has been going here since he was a little guy (grandpa always took him to get haircuts together). Now as a teen he REFUSES to go anywhere else! We live 32 miles away and he will go full mop head if he can't get to Jack's! Name it and it's THE BEST at Jack's!
