I have bought several whole pigs from J&J in the past. I can confidently say that they have all produced memorable and amazing roasted whole pigs for special events. If you haven't ever done a whole pig, I suggest you look into it. They are a lot easier than you may think, and the results are something that will be talked about for a long long time. J&J is professional, easy to work with, and most importantly- they have a great product. I highly suggest them. BRB- Ordering a whole pig for a Halloween treat.

I bought a whole pig, 35 lbs, to roast with friends. It was fine. However, the cheek meat and belly meat was removed despite their website and phone order staff telling me it was a "whole pig". I didn't notice until I got the pig home because it was wrapped up. Very disappointing and misleading experience. The rest of the pig roasted nicely though and we had a great party.

Robyn has a very horrible tone when speaking to their customers just trying to purchase some pork within a time frame so i dont place an order and fail to make it in time. Other places far better service without the mean additude for a simple miscommunication from their front desk lady

This is the best place you could go for pork products. Do not go to one of them places that have that awful foul smell. This place is clean and has no odd or foul smell to it. If you think your meat market is so clean I dare you to come here and buy your pork one time. Then you will know that your typical place was not as good as you thought it was.It was my first time here so what I was expecting to see I did not. There are no meat counters with meat like you find at a grocery store or mom and pop meat market. No you go to a window tell them what you want and he cuts it off the pig that is hanging less they already have some cut. You can not get much fresher then that less you shot you own pig in your back yard.As for the reviewer before me I cant say for sure but I can not see a 35# pig having all that much cheek or belly meat it would be so thin or as you probably seen non existent. I am just guessing but 7# of guts and organs 10# of bone leaves you with 18# of skin, fat, and meat. If your lucky. So I think you should reconsider your dinging them so harshly for your percieved lack of cheek and belly meat.
