I called Roni for a consultation about getting new highlights and a cut because I'm growing out a perm. Only a few inches of it left. Instead of asking me to come in and see her face to face, she asked me for pictures of my hair. She then told me I needed a color correction because my hair was yellow and my roots were dark. I told her that was the lighting in my bathroom messing with the color. My hair is in no way yellow. She told me to go to Salon Chartreuse because my hair needed to be fixed and she couldn't do it. So I did. And guess what? My hair is not in need of color correction at all. Just new highlights and a cut. Since she never saw me face to face, she never really got to see my hair. Instead she pretty much told me that she didn't want to risk her reputation on me. Whatever. Won't be calling her again. All I wanted was a cut and highlights. Instead I got the brush off.

Roni is just wonderful. This is my second time seeing her (first time at her new location next to Black Sheep Bistro) and I will continue using her for my hair stylist as long as I can! Her space is so nicely decorated and intimate, which was a plus during COVID. She keeps things very clean, with hand sanitizer and things close by for her clients. Not only does Roni give a great hair cut, she is very personable and easy to talk to. The whole appointment just feels easy and relaxing. My hair looks so much better and I am thrilled! Thanks again Roni, you're the best!

I moved from San Antonio to North Padre three months ago and dreaded trying to find a new stylist. I decided to make an appointment with Roni and I'm am so happy I did!! She is great with color, highlights and cuts. The first time I went, my boyfriend said my cut was the best it had been in the two years he has known me. I had to agree. I've been back three times and always very pleased. I highly recommend giving her a chance. Prices are very reasonable!!

Roni was amazing. I love that she texts. It makes everything easier! She was able to get my mom in within 2 hours and she did an outstanding job! She was meticulous and precise and gave my mom an incredible haircut that we didn't even expect! I also love that her shop is so clean. My mom will be going to her for every haircut from now on.

After seeing the same stylist for 5 years before I moved to the island, I was very nervous to see someone new. Roni made me feel very comfortable and made my hair feel great. Her prices are very good too! Will definitely go back!

I am new to the Island and decided to check out this salon because it got rave reviews and it was in walking distance from my house. I am a PIDA (pain in da _ss) when it comes to getting my hair cut so trying out a new place is always fun. Roni was great. She was very patient with me and my apprehensions. When it was all said and done, I really liked the cut and plan to become a regular.

Roni did a fabulous job with my hair. it's a beautiful salon, the staff is sooo nice, and it's not outrageously expensive! i did partial highlights and she matched perfectly my existing (albeit grown-out) highlights. she also freshened up my cut with some long layers and i was very happy leaving :) i will definitely go back!

Ronnie is wonderful. Cut, color, conditioner!!!! Perfect and reasonably priced. Everyone there including their other customers were charming. They came highly recommended and did not disappoint.

RONI GIVES GREAT BANGS!Bangs are either the absolute best or the total worst. It took metwo years to grow out my last failed experiment, after which I vowed to never EVER try that look again. That lasted about a year.The other day, I was sitting in Roni's chair, getting my regular trim and color and my inner wild child forced the words, "I've been thinking about bangs" out of my mouth."Let's do it!" Roni exclaimed, and then, in approximately two seconds, cut me the most beautifully flattering side bang I've ever had in my entire life.I have decided that Roni is made of magic, because there is no other explanation as to why she could make me look so good. Since my hair has been in her hands, it's so lush and gorgeous it looks like it should be attached to the head of a movie star, not a person like me (who routinely slops around in cut up t-shirts looking like Pigpen).If you're even THINKING about committing to bangs, do yourself a favor and call Roni. She may even be able to fix the dumb ones you cut yourself during quarantine -- she's just that great!

Roni is a God sent. She fixed my bad hair cut I got from another salon and worked me in to fix color before I leave on vacation tomorrow morning. Love the outcome and love the idea of a wonderful new hair technician. Now to enjoy vacation. Thank you again Roni!!!
