IGA Island Market

JUST EXCITED THERE IS A MARKET ON THE ISLAND NOW!!! Finally we have some where convenient to go when we forgot something from home.Or end up having an unplanned grill or bonfire. This is such a convenient location for the Port Aransas and North Padre crowd. The beverage both alcoholic and non have a huge selection. The deli selection is bore's head only. So only top notch deli meats here.

I was quite surprised to find the pricing competitive to HEB and Walmart. For example, the bananas were .20 lower. This market had great customer service (every employee I interacted with was friendly and helpful!). It was a good size and had plenty of everything that you'd needed for your groceries and was in stock. We went in for some snacks and breakfast groceries while staying at the beach and I was delighted to find some of my favorite healthy brands on their shelves! We also took home some local coffee beans which was a nice find! They also have some unique items/brands that others don't have. Great location for island residents and visitors.

Very happy the prices are good, the staff is friendly, location is clean, and it is very convenient. The quality of the food is good as well.

Everything I needed at HEB only actually close by, lesson learned! Also the staff are very talkative, helpful and friendly, plus the prices weren't too jacked like I thought vs mainland.

I love this store! It is so nice to have such a well-stocked, clean store so close to the beach and condos on the island. This store is not overpriced like they could be. They have fresh meats and produce, plenty of options, and the staff is friendly.

Great little store! They aren't horribly overpriced like you would expect since it's on the island. Has lots of stuff and even some stuff I couldn't find back home. Employees were very nice and helpful. Our go to place when we are in town visiting.

Excellent service and very well informative. They have very different type of food I haven't seen in other stores .

My husband left his wallet at the register and we didn't even realize it. They found his business card in his wallet and contacted him. The cashier that found it was Sandra Brislis. Very sweet woman and she absolutely refused to accept any reward for her honesty and kindness. Shows real integrity! We shop here all of the time as we live just one street away. Everyone here is kind, friendly, and professional. Each time I've been noticed looking for something, a staff member ALWAYS offers to help me. If it's an item they don't carry, they will sincerely try to get it. The store is extremely neat and clean. The meat selections are very very good quality. The produce selections are constantly expanding! We are so grateful we don't have to go OTB very often at all, we can get most of our grocery items. Super handy when we're in the middle of meal prep and find we are missing an ingredient. Thank you again for the great service!! Our island really needed you and we are very grateful you're here!

I love this place! I've never seen a store so well neatly stocked. We grabbed some meaty fajitas but the other selections of fresh meats that they offer look very delicious. This store is very clean, and welcoming!
