Hurricane Alley Waterpark

This place is nice and small but it provides a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. Yes I know it needs some upgrades but for the price and for the smiles on the kiddos we enjoyed it. I don't know if this is all the time but we went in before 12 noon and it was only 12 dollars to get in on a Saturday. The place has lockers for your personal belongings which you scan the reader to pay and create your own PIN number. There is a gift shop in case you need the minor necessities for the pool. It has a swim up bar that provides adult beverages for your consumption. They also have a small food court to order food and enjoy it as well in a shaded seated area. There are three slides...one which is opened which you can slide down on a mat, and the other two are somewhat enclosed you slide down on tubes which is actually pretty fun. It also has a lazy river and an area for some surfing. Can't forget about the kiddos fun zone. They have packages and seasonal passes for all your family needs. They have an area with a small beach you can rent as well as cabanas...All in all we will definitely be back for some fun...

The park is nice but only opens on weekends. The slides are nice but in the internet and a lot of other Plattform is written that it opens every day of the week which isn't true. ONLY WEEKENDS but it's quite nice.

This is a quite small water park and honestly, not worth $20 per person with the limited amount of rides and activities. A season pass would be more cost-effective if you plan on going more than once in a summer or season. However, with the need to get out of the heat, it fit the bill for a last minute trip to Corpus Christi on a Saturday when company was visiting. There are 3 different slides, one which is about 60 feet high. The wave pool is small but has a nice walk-in area and connects to a swim-up bar for the adult customers. The kids area is on the back side of the wave pool. They have a lazy river which is really slow...many times we had to use our arms to move us along. The water sources are all connected so we think the wave pool affects the lazy river's movement because when the wave pool is "waving," the lazy river has small waves as well but when it's not "waving," the lazy river wasn't moving and we had to push ourselves along.There is a surfing simulator next to the dining area. The dining area has covered picnic tables so you can eat and not be in the heat. Food is a little costly...one slice of pizza and a frito pie was $10+.There are lots of lifeguards around for safety. A store to make purchases of forgotten items (sunblock, water shoes, etc). Cabanas that can be rented. Music plays over the sound system.

Had a good time here with my family, affordable and not super crowded! The Water was a little too warm in the hot summer heat but overall I was happy.

The staff is absolutely awful, especially at the food areas. We paid for a full package costing over 375 for 3 people as our fourth couldn't make it. We were told the ticket was just wasted. I added $100 to my bracelet and every employee acted like it was an inconvenience for them to scan it. Over all it was a terrible experience for me, my son (his birthday request), & my friend. People were fighting over dirty tubes, it was next to impossible to stay on one without someone pulling you off, the employees standing around did nothing. The only time an employee opened their mouth was to tell me to throw away my drink. Never again!! Sea world is far better and much friendlier!!'

Fun place to be ! - ( staff needs to remove floaters from people who are not using them in order for the others to use it. )-Our family spent the whole day at the paro and the bar.Friendly staff and ( service animal friendly).We where like 6 people constantly drinking at the bar drinks after drinks and the bill was less than 200.I recommend this place to go have fun with your children.( The only thing I didn't like was the floaters , people take them and sit on the tables without using them and the staff doesn't tell them to please let the people who are jumping from the slides use it.)

We were traveling from California and just loved this excursion! Pros: --we visited on a Friday, arrived right at 11, got a picnic table with an umbrella and got to enjoy the slides without any lines! It got busier in the afternoon--staff was super nice --always had access to a tube --seemed like a lot of options for shade without having to pay extra for a spot --food was reasonably priced --a variety of activities for all ages--we have a 13y/o, 6 y/o and 11 month old. Everyone was happy! Cons: --I think they could have made their rules more clear with signage. They were kind when they told us policies, but we wouldn't know until we were told

Employees are hateful. I am in a wheelchair and we got to the inspection area and they told me no wheelchairs were allowed. The my family left me with all of our stuff. I went to look for a cover so I wouldn't burn. I opened a umbrella and set up under it in my wheelchair and this hateful employee came up to me and said you need to move this is reserved so I had to pack all of our stuff up and move into the heat.I was charged to get in and didn't use any of the swimming areas. If you are in a wheelchair you shouldn't have to pay if you are there just for keeping your family's items safe.Will not ever go back. The prices there were to expensive.

Small but fun. Definitely should allow food and drinks to be brought in, especially water. But really nice employees and we LOVE the flow rider
