Unclean and overall sketchy atmosphere. Do not pay to get your nails done here. They do not warn you that they are not using the regular chemicals and that the nails will only last a few days.

House of Elegance Cosmetology school is the most unprofessional school I've attended! The instructor there is the rudest, most unprofessional, loudest person I've ever had to come across with. She doesn't care about the students she just cares about the money. We started off with 7 students and 4 out of 7 of them left and went to different schools because you will learn NOTHING at this school. They left for a better education and that was the best thing to do. She never wants to get up from her desk to actually help you one on one with anything you may be having trouble with. It's a hands on school but you will hardly be taught anything hands on. Mrs.Stewart just sits at her desk and watches Snapchat's, or Facebook gossips to her brother that sits at his desk all day as well. They curse out loud, talk about people, their family, clients. I wouldn't waste any of your time here or your money, put your money into a better school so you can get what you pay for! This is coming from a former student that just left this school! So not worth it!! Over the year they only graduated 2 students!-there was no option for no stars.. -instructor also got fired from working at delmar from an assault charge, she's a very hostile lady.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! this unprofessional, toxic, and self-centered teacher would steal stuff from my sister, she once tried to double process my sisters hair with bleach in attempt to burn it off, she even messed up my bangs on purpose. i asked for bangs that were thin and she went more far back on my bangs than anybody normally would. she has no respect and my sister has videos of her being constantly yelled at while in tears. i definitely don't recommend this school to ANYONE because of the lack of human decency this teacher has. she sits at her desk the whole time scrolling through her phone. she doesn't properly teach any of the students. most of the students that attended already left to another school because of the lack of teaching provided. she curses out loud, gossips, and is just overall a bad role model to anybody wanting to join the cosmetology field. her and a student were speaking about a paying client that had went into this school that was apparently being "rude" to the student and MS STEWART replied "i would've just burned her hair off" is that really the kind of instructor and cosmetologist that should be around anybody, better yet teaching?
