I was seated immediately and my order for drink and food taken within a few minutes. It's a real sit down restaurant inside and they take your order at your table not at a counter. I am already liking this. Pretty utilitarian inside. Tables with chairs, paper napkins at each table, along with ketchup and mustard. The music inside is at an appropriate volume but I can't tell you the genre. Maybe contemporary pop? Not any songs I had ever heard before but not bad. I ordered two half pound burger patties with bacon and cheese and a diet soda. Burger came with fries but I just left them. The bacon and cheese on the burger were very tasty. I was very full after a pound of meat cheese and bacon ended up in my stomach.A really good carnivore lunch. I would eat here again!

Food was incredible!! Probably the best wings I've ever had. So juicy and the lemon pepper sauce was so bright and tangy. My dad got the frito pie burger which he said was great as well. The server, Briana, was very polite and attentive. And the ambiance was appropriate for the cozy vibe of the restaurant! All around a great place!

. I did a pre-order on a delivery service. They can cook but apparently they cannot read. I wanted my order at 7 and they made it at 3:20. When i asked the manager to remake the food, they refused. I'm very disappointed.....

Came here to meet some cousins and it was very laid back and chill. Enough parking and fast service. They have lots of specials and the food was good. There is a playground for the kiddos and lots of space to sit outside and inside. It's more of a dive bar/ restaurant but good vibes and beer buckets are cheap and lots of burger choices. Check it out.

I haven't been to House of Burgers in several years now. To be honest, I came here a few times when I first moved to Corpus, and I believe I was a little turned off by the "family friendly" vibe. Most ironically of all, the last time I came here was when I finished Jordan Peterson's 12 Rules for Life (An Antidote to Chaos), literally sitting at a table here. My how my life views have changed since then.Anyway, on with the review. House of Burgers & Wings is what one may expect - a good old fashioned American comfort food establishment serving up some pretty darn tasty burgers, etc., and at good value. I like the atmosphere quite a bit. It's simple, it's country, and it has a nice outdoor area (a rarity in Corpus!). And yes, it is kid friendly, with an outdoor play area for the youngins to run wild while the parents get a chance to dine in comfort and relax a little. As far as I can tell, the staff are pretty nice and accommodating. This being my first time back in a while, I now know they sell burger patties à la carte, which is a total win for me.I absolutely love supporting local small businesses with good values - to me it is the ultimate form of resistance against the machine. In other words, voting with your dollars matters a lot. And for those reasons, I plan on returning again soon.

Pay attention to your receipts, they don't charge what's on their menus... it is 3% additional added to each item.. if you pay card they charge another 3% on top of the total bill... if you pay cash they still charge 3% per item but give you a cash discount which is like $2.. If you order the potato skins , they come w cheese / meat on top everything else on the side... the pico they put on the side is a teaspoon not enough to even cover 1 potato skin even tho it comes w 6, we asked for extra they charged me $4 for extra and the manager said you can put it on if you want w what we give you.. who eats 1 baby tomato , onion and jalapeño piece to put on a whole skin!!! Like how are you going to tell me $12 plate but no pico even tho Pictured then charge me $4 extra for something that was pictured!!On top of that, server didn't get the drinks until the meal almost came, we had to get up our self and get refills, she came but once during the meal!! Horrible service!!It would have been great bc they have so many play area for kids but this has me never going back w their outrageous ways of pricing, service and the lack of professionalism!!

Called in an order, the called in a change- very pleasant and easy experience. After being late to pick-up, the staff was concerned about the temperature. WOW- they really care about their quality and service- and the quality and taste was amazing. Had burgers, since this is the "HOUSE OF BURGERS" - the flavors hit me like something my grandmother used to feed me- made with love and care. Friendly, tasty, and comforting. A bucket of beer could have been the cherry on top, but was a work day, so will have to return soon!Sorry no pic- started digging into it to quick.

Came to House of Burgers & Wings with a friend for lunch. We were seated right away and served fairly quickly. We enjoyed our generously prepared meal and our server was very attentive. The place is located off a major road and has a play area for children. There is available seating inside and outside. Enjoy! :)

First time trying this place and was very disappointed. Burgers sucked a$$ !!!! Highly processed frozen patties that they microwaved. Atmosphere was old and dated, holes in the floor, restrooms were gross and dirty. Will never go here again!
