Hometown Seafood

2/14/2025, found this place through Facebook on their valentine's day special. We booked online which was very easy. The place when we first walk in I was kind of nervous due to the look of a sports bar theme. Then, our waiter came over and I asked him about the wine. He did tell me that he did not know much about the wine. He did go and look at the wine and told me it was Italian wine. I ordered a bottle. We looked at the special menu and I chose the lobster dumplings, and my boyfriend got the summer roll. I can say the summer rolls were great but the lobster ravioli looked good too and you can tell it was made from scratch, but you can tell they used frozen lobsters instead of fresh. The salads that came out were delicious. Next is the main course. We had the 48 oz steak. I am a person no matter what kind of steak it is I want Heinz 57 sauce, I have always been this way. I tried the steak with the cowboy butter and it was great. Perfectly cooked. I can say our waiter Tanner was a great waiter and was on top of everything. But the floor manager came over and you could tell he was drunk and left a bad impression about how management staff runs the restaurant. I was recommended that Tanner became the manager. He was good with the other wait staff and customers. Fired the floor manager!

This was my favorite place so far on my vacation. Service was fast and it was only one man named Tanner doing the roles of 4 people. 10/10 phenomenal employee give this man a raise! The food was great. I had the gumbo, catfish bites (light delicious breading) , Rockefeller, boom boom shrimp.Everything was a 4/5 aside from the shrimp. Something about the sauce was a lil intense as it reminded me of a honey glaze from Panda Express honey walnut shrimp. Pepino refresher was fine nothing to write home about. Ambiance was very clean!Overall I'd come here again!

WOWZIES... Whenever I come to a coastal place, I want to indulge in wonderful seafood. This place completely hit the spot, for a party of two. One seafood fan and one not. Good variety on the menu, and everything tasted so delicious. And our server was so pleasant and sweet, gave lots of good advice on good food. Highly suggest everybody to order the elote day French fries, and the tuna poke nachos, and to be honest everything we had.

Excellent food and service. The renovation so space are great. Lots of tv's. We enjoyed the tacos, Cajun pasta and chicken. Servings are large. Will definitely be back.

Cooper, our server, was great! He kept the oysters and the beers coming! We also had peel and eat shrimp - everything was great. Try their 2:00 to 6:00 pm happy hour.

This is a restaurant and a bar. We experienced the drunks there. An extremely drunk man walked out the front door with a glass drink in hand and fell or tripped off the curb breaking the glass, AND FALLING INTO OUR CAR dented the front left quarter panel. Talked to the assistant manager who was on phone with the head manager who we requested to call us with all our info texted to her. Never heard a word. We are not inclined to go back.

What went well: amazing oyster sample platter. Fried calamari was exceptional as well. The owner was very gratuitous with experienced delays.What could have been better: while the sweet waitress set our expectations that service would be slow (Friday night 6:30), we had to re-request our drinks and learned they the bottle of house wine we ordered was not available. We gave her a second option and received that within 5 minutes. Our Cobb salad was forgotten and brought out shortly after we asked about it. The owner provided us a discount card, which we will definitely be back, but not on a night that will be so busy.

Great new restaurant in beloved old location. This place is good. It will likely fine tune things. Smash burger was outstanding, needs no improvement. Peel eat shrimp were great, thoughtfully deveined! Glad to see a good replacement for Scuttlebutts. Happy hour specials look promising. I have yet to come during the week to try them. Friendly waitstaff.

I stopped today for dinner at this new place, the food was amazing, and great service, everyone who works there was super friendly. The place looks clean and well-decorated.

Had a great overall experience. Took a large group and everyone had great food (one fish fry basket had a slightly undercooked piece). Service was good. Love the renovations and atmosphere.
