We visited Uvalde and came here on the evening after the total solar eclipse. Most customers were local. Prompt pleasant service, could have cleaned up the table during dinner. Enjoyed all the food. Jalisco burrito with minced beef. One chalupa. Carne asada. Awesome tortillas! Good chips, salsa, and mango margarita

If you plan on waiting full 30 mins in the drive-thru to get your food then I highly recommend food is okay , but I'll personally never wait in that long a** drive thru again. Two cars in front of me pull away instead of waiting then when I finally got to the window the two cars behind me got their food first....

Yuck. Stopped here after camping near Camp Wood on our way back to Austin. Slow service, mediocre chips and salsa, no queso (you would have thought I had asked for a side of egg rolls) and our food took FOREVER. Never checked back on us after food came then failed to explain that you are to pay at the counter. Good thing my husband walked up there to ask or we may have still been sitting there! . The food just isn't worth the stop. Seemed new and clean on the inside, so that was a plus - with all of the COVID issues, I was surprised to see salt, pepper, sugar packets and regular menus. My guess is to cut down on the customer "service".

Looked crowded all day so we tried it out. Salsa was not spectacular but did the job of curing our starvation until the food made it. I got the burrito and my wife got the quesadilla. Both looked pretty delicious from the outside but the beef fajita was sooo greasy it actually made my wife sick to her stomach. In my burrito I was hoping there would be some ingredients besides meat and cheese inside but that's all there was. The final straw was my brother ordered a meal that was made with onions and could not be removed so he asked if he could get something different since he didn't know it was on there plus he couldn't take them all out of it. Being in the restaurant industry for a 10 years having to trash 4 tacos and beans isn't worth upsetting a table of 5 paying customers. Well they didn't want to replace it without my brother paying for both plates (1 he's not even going to eat)...seriously bad customer service from the server for not even trying to fix the problem just saying oh well and have my brother just sit there and not eat while we all tried to enjoy our mediocre meal.

The service is horrible and takes forever and the food isn't good. We ordered tripa tacos and they don't clean them, they were very smelly. Will not be returning don't waste your money.

This restaurant has the best breakfast tacos in Uvalde! I grew up in Uvalde and every time we visit our family we make sure to get breakfast tacos here at least once during the trip! When we bring our friends from the Houston area here they go crazy over the tacos! They still even randomly bring them up. The lunch and dinner options are good as well. This is one of the few Mexican restaurants in town that is open for dinner and they are open pretty late for Uvalde standards. The service is always excellent and the food comes out relatively quick for preparing the food fresh to order.

Food is ok. Service is bad at times. I called in an order once and as I was requesting this or that the person on the phone stated whether I was asking her or telling her?? 645am and having a cocky attitude so early? If I'm ordering over the phone how can it be stated any differently? She still works there at the Getty location.

We went to Chalk Bluff Resort for the weekend and we decided to go eat Sunday morning and we chose this Mexican restaurant. I ordered a fajita torta and my husband ordered chicken tacos. Our food didn't arrive at the same time mine came first then after 15 minutes after he flagged the waitress down and reminded them about his food he did get his food. My fajita was not good it was fried too much and the part that wasn't fried was stretchy like gum and it was in thick chunks not cut down like usually. The beans were the only good part. I ate my beans with my torta bread because I was hungry. My husband liked his chicken but not the tortilla but it's because we are used to home made thin flour tortillas. Their flour tortillas are thick. And it was my brother in law's birthday and we asked if they could sing Happy Birthday to him but they said no the staff didn't want to do it..that was sad...So, truthfully don't waste your money here unless you just want beans. Please like my review if it helped you. Y'all know I want y'all to spend your hard earned money on places that give good customer service and make delicious food to serve y'all. I was hungry and it stinks when we pay and the food wasn't good.

Bad service our waiter forgot about us. My in-laws table the waiter forgot about the knife and tortillas. I don't recommend it.
