Henderson AC

Wow and wow. I live in Georgetown, TX, and called these gents because of Yelp reviews. My A/C in my condo wasn't working, and I couldn't get down there. Leave it to say, that this company is now my 'go to' for A/C issues. They were responsive, and had a technician over to my place as quickly as they could. There were two other more likely choices I could have made.....both expensive and both recommended by the folks in my building. So glad I chose Henderson A/C. Prompt, and about half the cost of what I was expecting to pay. AND, honest. My problems ended up being minor, and in fact, when I explained what my buddy had done when replacing the thermostat, I practically got a diagnosis over the phone. That problem and one other were fixed within days, and a bill came in the mail that did not kill my checking account. Thanks, Henderson A/C. I've bookmarked you in Yelp, and will tell all my friends.

I bought a complete new A/C system 2-1/2 years ago. Inside and outside unit. New duct work throughout. A whole new A/C system. The closet the inside unit is installed in has always taken on moisture and mildewed. I have had them out numerous times over the last 2-1/2 years and they have patched this spot and that on the ductwork to seal leaks. Now they are basically out of business, owner fired crew, and he says he doesn 't have the manpower to correct this poor install after he said he would make good on a redo it two months ago. I'm mad as hell. Do not use Henderson A/C.

All aspects of the operation was professional. The ducts from the 1950's needed to be replaced. The technician reviewed the work the needed. The ducts were installed in the 1950's for only heat. At some point cool air from air conditioner was added. The technician suggested replacing the old tin ducts with a newer material. The suggestion saved money.The day was agreed to start. The Henderson crew arrived early and worked into the early evening. They were able to complete all they could do that day. The vents were changing from circular vents to reticular. To complete the job the sheet rock person had to remove sheet rock. A few days later when the sheet rock was removed Henderson returned to complete anchoring the reticular vents.All Was Professionally:1. The Technician2. The Bid Was Explained3. Today was the 2nd time that I have used Henderson AC. On this occasion, my AC went out late yesterday. They came out ASAP today. Both times they sent Nick. He is a great representative for this company. He is knowledgeable and explains everything to me in laymen's terms. He got straight to work and had it fixed in no time. He is honest and courteous. Henderson is always reasonably priced. I trust them and will forever give them my business, as long as they send out people like Nick. When something major happens, I know I can trust that they will be telling me the truth. I recommend this company.

These guys know what they are doing and can quickly diagnose / fix any issues that you might have for a reasonable price.Before I contacted Henderson, I had bad luck with several different A/C companies' workers in our area. Our new A/C had broken every year for the past 3 years (likely due to improper installation). And none of the workers sent to our home even tried to fix the condensation issues that had been damaging the sheetrock on our ceiling; I think that they just did not want to crawl around in our miserably hot attic for a few hours to fix the problem. That's the sort of service you might get if you go with someone else.The guys at Henderson fixed all of our issues in one afternoon. I called them with the intent of putting in a brand new, expensive system, but they were honest and said that it wasn't worth it. Save yourself some time, money, and heartache and just give them a call first.

I would like to thank the professionals at Henderson AC. After getting a HORRIBLE job from Bodine (read Bodine review... you will know which one it is) at over 5,000 dollars, Hernderson came out and diagnosed the issue and got the wheels turning in a very precarious situation.Just go with these guys... it is a no-brainer.

I love Henderson AC Repair! We wasted $400 with One Hour AC Repair and it didn't even work. The AC pooped out 3 days later. One Hour AC then quoted us $4,000.00 to fix a cracked coil!!!!! We then called Henderson AC because they have excellent reviews on Angie's List. He arrived in 20 minutes and was kind, knowledgeable, professional, patient and HONEST! He quoted me $145, plus tax, stayed about 2 hours (that's a lot of labor for a great price) and repaired it successfully. They are genuine and trustworthy! I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND THEM to anyone in the area!

Henderson is the only A/C company I will ever use. I've used them several times and so have my parents. Great service, excellent techs, on time, confident and get the job done for a reasonable price. This is hard to come by nowadays...highly reccommend

So I know this is going to seem like a weird review but I feel like I had to share it. I didn't hire this company to do any work. But I just saw the owner Ted yell at a post office worker about a sign in the lobby that had a incorrectly spelled word. He repeatedly yelled in her face that she was an idiot over and over again. I can only imagine how he treats his customers.

This is how a business should be run. I was so afraid to call an AC company because they are notorious for ripping people off in Port Aransas. But Henderson AC not only did a great job installing my new AC, but they were also fair, honest, and completely professional. I highly recommend this business to anyone needing AC work done!
