well... based on yelp reviews & menu drove out of our way on trip home to try harrel's. BUT - sign said "limited menu" which we were told meant burgers and fries. VERY disappointing, we left, so can't comment. might check before you visit.

The old fashioned dinner has really good food, is quaint, very affordable, and has a friendly staff. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Nice quaint restaurant located inside an old fashioned pharmacy in Downtown Kingsville. Very reasonably price and decent selection on their menu. Good sized portions as well.

Although service was very slow, the food was worth the wait! If you're looking for a cheap meal that's diner quality, look no further than Harrel's. The BLT I had yesterday was absolutely amazing and filled me up. The chili cheese fries were so good I'll be going there more often just to eat them! The food was super hot when it just came out so be careful and blow on your food before you eat. If anyone is interested in going inside the dining area, it's an open area where you can sit where ever you want. It's an open grill so you can view your food getting made as they serve you right there and then. The customer service is very considerate and the server we had was super nice! Not only that, they have a ton of products at the store. They sell really high quality gifts that I'm looking forward to buy again. Great and cute place to eat and shop!

Food was soda fountain good! Waitress was friendly and efficient. Banana split was the bomb!!! So enjoyed our stop there on our way to San Antonio. We will be returning. A unique experience.

Loved the service and the food. Cheese burger classic order but did try the burrito with chili and cheese and it was amazing.

Ok so I'm not sure if we got the new guy as our waiter or if this just isn't a job fit for him. Thankfully the other staff saw our struggles and helped us make it through. The food was everything you would want for this type of diner and more. Chicken salad sandwich- amazing... burger- perfect- milkshakes- thick and on point!

If you like an old school soda fountain, this is your place. Very good burger, fries or onion rings, and a milk shake. Their Mexican food and chopped bbq sandwich are great as well. Awesome spot.
