I would put a negative review if able, literally the worst. constant construction that they have to redo, because it's done so poorly, internet charge is built in, but doesn't work, constant extra fees, they have made a deal with tow truck companies to tow guests cars, they constantly add on fees, and I've submitted at least 2 work orders and my ac still does not work

My first clue was the office staff when I showed up they had rented my apartment.. I had a I haul of belongings and was given an another apartment. Roaches, worn cabinets, dirty. Not freshly painted, old cracked appliances, just really poor maintenance and upkeep. The flooding packing lot and side walks with mud.You sign the lease and in the fine print expect your rent to be 200 more than proposed due to fees monthly in addition to 30 dollar fee to pay your rent online since they do not any longer accept payment in office. Cable and internet that do not work.. management no help at all. The walls are paper thin.. you hear everything. 1st upstairs neighbor finally moved out, sounded like they were running down my hall at 2a.m. second one moved in loud as well but then had 2 dogs who were allowed to potty on the balcony sending urine and stool down to my balcony, the office half way cleaned the one wall.. they are useless. Called to notify water coming through wall in laundry room. Mold everywhere, ruined my dryer with rust and 75% of my Christmas decorations.. over $1000 easy. No remedy.. the actual wall of the apartment seeps. I gave my notice 60 days in advance when I was given notice my rent would increase by 200 a month at the end of my lease, putting this old run down apartment at 1250 a month plus all the fees 1500.. during a pandemic mind you. They were given my forwarding address and have my phone number.. today I find out that back in August they places my balance of 181 ( for what I don't know.. I left it cleaner than I found it) reported to collections in August 2020. My lease ended July 31, 2020, I have not been contacted by Harbour Landing, just a direct hit to my credit. Unbelievable poor apartments from management to maintenance to apparently in general overall company integrity. Save your credit and peace of mind and skip this place!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. If you are a college student do not live here. They are rude and will try and scam you if you are young. The neighbors I had below and across from us were extremely rude because we were younger. We lived right in front of the dog park and would walk out to the smell of poop and pee every day because the park was not cleaned regularly. I cannot tell you how many false fines they tried to give us just to get money. They tried to give us a 100 DOLLAR FINE because we had a guest over and they did not park in the guest parking. This place never had a place for guest to park. My roommate and I went to the front office and showed them that no where in the lease did it show that there was guest parking and the fine they were trying to fine us was fake. One lease violation we got was becasue our neighbor complained that we shower too much. How can you shower too much, and how can an apartment complex give a resident a lease violation over here say? The complex was out to get us and our money from the start and I would have broke the lease from the time we moved in because of the roach infestation we had in the apartment. The rent is WAYYYYYYY more than what it should be if you still have appliances and cabinets from the 80s in the complex. The stafff members in the front were always rude to us and always had an attitude if we needed to ask questions. THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF!! DON'T LIVE HERE!!!!!

Rent here if you want moldy musty smelly apartment, non cooling AC units, in unit washer that doesn't work, kitchen appliances are trash, plumbing is always backed up, water is off at least three to five times a month, forced to pay for non covered reserved parking, $35. Rude and poor customer service once you sign your lease. Can't get out of here fast enough! Ghetto!

I would not rate this complex NO STARS!! First of all we were given wrong information for qualifications. When we went in filled out application and paid our app fee we were told we were denied with the staff knowing any circumstances. The property manager admitted we were given wrong information and would have to have a talk with the leasing agent about giving out false information. The whole staff needs to be re trained. Asked for our app fee since we were given false information and refused. Took if to corporate and they also refused. I would not recommend this complex. Don't waste your time and money!!!! Go somewhere where they have knowledge of their own property.

My family lived at HL from Spring of 2018 through Spring of 2019. There were a LOT of issues with the complex & the people we were in contact with to try and resolve those issues.I had an entire document that I kept keeping a list of everything wrong with this place, and it's too long to post - if that tells you how bad it is. SO let me try to sum it up.-SAFETY ISSUES: They give you a tag that you need to have with you if you use the pool, because the pool is resident's only. NOTE: The pool is only resident's only if someone checks, and no one checked ONE TIME in the year we lived there. Not once. People hop the fence & sit in the hot tub drinking & partying well past midnight, and not necessarily people that live at HL. I lost count of how many people drove up, parked in front of the office, got in the pool/hot tub for a few hours, and then left. There is no security making sure that non-residents stay out. -PEST CONTROL: Yes. There are a LOT of bugs. If you think you've seen a lot, wait until someone in the building moves out, because those bugs will scatter to your apartment when the people go in to "clean" (if it can be called that). And if you call down to report it & ask for pest control more than once in a couple months, they'll try to blame you for bringing the bugs. (Yep. That's what they did to us when we moved in there.)-IMPORTANT NOTICES: (maintenance, water issues, website issues, pest control) are rarely given to residents with enough time to accommodate. On several occasions, we were only made aware of things happening in the complex (building maintenance, water being shut off, etc) because we were contacting the front office about something else. MAJOR EXAMPLE: over a week after an apartment fire in Building 15, a note was stuck in the door frame that maintenance would be coming around over a course of 2 days (Tuesday & Wednesday) to get serial numbers off of kitchen appliances. They did not come to our unit on day 1, so we called on day 2 for an approximate time they would come to us, as we had things we had to do that required us to be away from home. Only after we reached out to them TWICE did they inform us that this had been delayed and they might be getting to us Monday, after the Thanksgiving holiday (makes you nervous to cook when the fire in 15 STARTED IN THE KITCHEN, RIGHT?!). Monday morning (just prior to 10AM), we called down for an approximate time, but no one answered, and despite us leaving a message, we received no call back. Around 2pm, we went to the front office. They didn't know what we were talking about at first, before stating the people were coming from San Antonio and might come down tomorrow (Tuesday). We were informed that they had to provide notice to all residents in a letter first (which is the first time we have heard about such a thing, seeing as notice is either a note on the door or a text, if we get one at all). They finally admitted we could get them the numbers ourselves, instead. (Why no one bothered to tell us that to start with, we'll never know.)-CORPORATE: Don't bother asking for information to contact corporate. They'll hem & haw and say that have to get back to you, and then never get back to you with that information. You can call, and call, and email, and email, and you will never get it, not from the people in the office. -LAUNDRY CARD: Yep. You need a specific card to do your laundry. The machines on site do not take cash, credit, or debit. You have to buy a card from them, & then fill it in their machines. If one of the machines are broken & still took your money, don't bother reporting it to the office. There was rarely an OUT OF ORDER sign put on the machines, & they WILL NOT give you back that money. You have to contact the company that supplies the machines. (There are supposed to be stickers with the info on each machine, but not all of them have it.)-BASKETBALL COURT: No one cares about the hours. No one cares that the giant light over the court pours through bedroom windows. Grown men & male teens (I've never seen girls out there after hours) will swarm the courts, play loud games under the blinding light, and then leave well after midnight without shutting off the light.-A/C: Terrible airflow. The main unit is above the master bathroom, so it gets the perfect temp, while the rest of the unit gets "leftover air". Maintenance calls this "normal". It's absurd to think that, even with the a/c running, you need 2 fans on high in the far bedroom to cool it off. It's not normal. It's lazy.-MAIL: Front office claims they've let you know you have a package in the office, even if you never got any notice. They won't call. They claim they text. Keep on top of everything you get delivered, so you know when to go pick it up, as they might "forget" to tell you. There is a LOT more, but I keep running out of room. Short: don't move here. They don't know what they're doing most of the time.

Would not recommend this apartment complex. When I moved in my apartment rug was damp and dirty, I brought in my own carpet cleaner to clean and remove most of the musty dank smell. The air conditioner had excessive leaking into the bathtub, created a molding issue, along with damage to the tub surround re-painted surface (was peeling back from the tub surface). I have excessive growth of plants onto my patio, I was on the second floor, growth had existed for many years prior to my arrival. When the tub was resurfaced the apartment, complex management left me a note that suggested I would not be charged this time for this service. Implying that due the mechanical issues with the air conditioner I would have been charged, not a good message to provide a good resident. The tub resurfacing required I was out of the apartment for three days, the smell (Volatile Organic Compounds) was intense, even after the three-day waiting period. Additionally, the resurfacing job was substandard and sloppy. I had repeat occurrences of roaches in my apartment during the entire time I occupied the apartment. So much so, that I would put roach traps in strategic locations to reduce the occurrence of the roach sightings. I was not comfortable enough with the tap water for consumption, always kept bottled water in the refrigerator. I also experienced multiple hot water issues during my stay at these apartments, there were monthly announcements from Management of water issues and water being cut off to fix an aging boiler system. These are just a few of the many, many issues experienced at this complex. Caveat emptor (Buyer beware).

I have lived at Harbour Landing for over a year now and I LOVE it! The pools are great and always clean. The community has lots of foliage and grass to play on as well as a lighted tennis court; my pup absolutely loves the onsite dog park which is good size and well maintained. Good prices and quiet. I would recommend these apartments.
