Harbor freight tools is who it says it is, good prices and decent tools (low quality) at a reasonable price. You can also find some good deals on simple tools and equipment. They might not have high quality tools and parts but for a simple fixer upper it works well...well for the most part.

Yep, I know some of the chinese tools are to be avoided even though they have lifetime warranties. Get the taiwan made ones if you get that option. But the selection is improving and HF is making a serious run at the truck vendors with the Icon brand. These are some really nice tools. But...given the current crisis with the pandemic, I got an email that they're donating all their 5 and 7 mil nitrile gloves to hospitals to help supply a serious need. I bought a few boxes when this thing started and I applaud HF for their generosity and community-mindedness at this time. They're also donating some N95 masks and face guards. THANK YOU Harbor Freight for the contribution to the global effort.

If you have more time than money make sure you check for prices on items you want just a clue for you. The service is almost nonexistent due to the fact that there are usually a lot of people in the store and only three or four staffing it. I checked around the Internet for a gun case and thought this was cheaper there with a coupon, turned out I found it for cheaper.The return was smooth and stress-free thank God. Great place to shop for knickknacks.

Affordable tools, at a decent quality. Though, sometimes there are not enough employees to help me choose the right product.

I bought a Portland power washer yesterday. Brought it home, opened it up, and it did not work. I took it back to Harbor freight the same day. They told me there would be a 20% restocking fee. The fact that it never worked in the first place made no difference. I took my 20% hit and decided to never darken their door again as long as I live. They sell nothing but cheap Chinese junk anyway. I would rather pay more money for a tool that works than less money for one that doesn't.

I bought a regulator from this store for my 20 gallon compressor for my hvlp spray gun. As soon as I hooked it up, it blew to pieces like shrapnel from a grenade. I would not recommend this product or any regulator from this store. My husband is a fine finish professional painter with 30 years experience in painting and this product is dangerous and trash!

If there was an option for a zero rating, that is exactly what this merchant deserves. I returned a Predator Generator because it did not work, and they wanted to charge me a $66 re-stocking fee. I objected because of the fact that it did not work. Nonetheless, after refusing to pay the re-stocking fee, the manager annoyingly says "I will waive it this time only." Really?! Well, thank you, but there won't be a next time because I will never return. So here is the worst issue: It's been 14 BUSINESS days since the return transaction and I still have NOT received the credit on my credit card. On the 8th business day I called Harbor Freight to let them know that I had not received my money and the manager said "well, you have to wait 7-10 business days." I went back to the store and spoke with another manager on the 12th business day and I was told they couldn't do anything for me and to call their Headquarters. I've left 3 messages in over 2 days at their headquarters and nobody has returned my call. I can't speak to anyone in the retail accounting department, always goes to voicemail. This is the most unprofessional business merchant I have ever dealt with in my life!! I will NEVER shop there, and I highly advise against giving them your business. They obviously do not care about the consumer. and for the record, my son bought a nail gun from there about 4 months ago, and it does not work. Too late to return it though. And another relative bought a generator that also did not work. It's obvious that their products are cheap. This totally holds true: "you get what you pay for." Stick to Home Depot, Sears, Northern Tools or Tractor Supply.

close when you say your going to close!!!!!!! got to the store at 8:45 they had the doors locked and wouldent let me grab a tarp! what the f^&@, if your going to close 15 minutes early say so! never again!
