Whenever I'm in town visiting family, I usually eat here for one of my meals. As a last hurrah before heading back to Fort Worth, Mom and I chose H&H for breakfast. Believe me, it did not disappoint. After ordering our food, we quickly found an out-of-the-way table for a time of fellowship. One of the employees delivered our food, and it was hot, fresh, and delicious. I had biscuits and gravy along with two pancakes. Yum! Mom's plate of eggs, bacon, and hash browns must have been good as the entire plate was eaten. Wow! If you live in the area, or visiting Yoakum like me, don't pass on the opportunity to eat here. Their bakery case is also a great choice in addition to their regular menu. It's great for grab-n-go! The decor was reminiscent of yester-year and has the feel of a small town. Please eat here!

One of the long time gems of Yoakum, Tx!We have a large family gathering every Easter in Yoakum and no weekend is complete without pigs in blankets and donuts from H&H. Fresh and filled with taste in every bite.Our go to favorites are:Sausage pigs in blankets Ham and cheese pigs in blankets Jalapeño versions of the two aboveDonuts, bear claws, kolaches and more.

Come with me as I look back at our trip to Yoakum, TX. We went exploring for breakfast on this morning and discovered this treasure at the end of a street.This is a quiet town, so it was easy to spot the popular places, we headed in and got to the counter where you order. The place was both open and roomy yet had a cozy feel. Shana took a side trip to the restroom. As such she felt it important to add that they were very clean and well stocked. A rarity as travelers are aware so pointing that out is useful.You place your order and find yourself a table. Shana had a breakfast sandwich and I had eggs, bacon, sausage meal. All made there and fresh, it was great, if we are in the area again I would love to try lunch or dinner.As our journey has brought us to many other places sometimes looking back is fun but hard to remember. There were not many people there but they all seemed like regulars and knew each other, there was a TV in the area we sat in with morning news playing. Everyone was friendly and the staff was great and fast for how good the food was.You should make a point to stop here if you are in the area.

Who knew Yoakum would have a great little restaurant like H&H. This is a hidden gem! I selected meat and veggies from their lunch buffet. The most brisket was wonderful, fried okra was cooked just right. The cole slaw is excellent! Finished it off with some unsweet tea, that was leafy and thirst quenching. I urge you to try them out!!

What an amazing authentic cafe bakery!History, culture, community, friends and hood food. We love this little piece of heaven and visit anytime we can. Check the daily specials and be sure to try every single thing they serve!Great pies and sweets. Clean bathrooms and friendly people.

Never had a bad meal here! Great brisket. Gets busy at lunch so go early or later if possible.

Great little discovery. The cafeteria style food line is a throwback to a simpler time. The food is homestyle and tasty.

Always has a varied menu depending on the day of the week. Friday's fish and shrimp are yum. Good selection of vegetables and salad fixings. Also have wonderful desserts to choose from. Always packed with customers so plan accordingly. Parking is good. Drive through is quick if you call ahead. Great iced tea.

Nice little Bakery/ cafe. Breakfast burritos are ok. Friendly service. Donuts are good. Opens early. Changed for the better in the last yrs.

The specials change daily. The hamburger was good and thick fries. They have salads too. The portions are hearty. The place is cafeteria style service.
