Tender very tender great sides the ribs are absolutely fantastic. The brisket is some of the best I've ever had

First time visiting this place and had some high hopes based on the previous reviews. I will go into details, but it was not bad and I will try them again. The location is pretty easy to find and they have ample parking if you get there early. I have to assume the summertime will be packed. The ordering is simple and fast. They do accept credit cards and have contactless payment methods. Inside is kinda cramped, but they make good use of the space they have. If your coming with a large group, you might plan to sit outside on the patios.On to the food..First off, the brisket had a great smoke flavor but was on the dry side. It's tough to eat a dry brisket for me. However they do give you plenty. The sausage also had a good flavor, just again on the dry side. Now the beans and potato salad were a totally different thing. They were great with lots of flavor and big portions. Their BBQ sauce is interesting and I have not quite figured it out. The only other time I tasted something similar was at Franklins in Austin (and that's a big compliment).I will definitely give them another try and update the review accordingly.

Finally, good Texas Barbecue in Rockport! Small crew of friendly folks ready to meet your BBQ needs. Outdoor seating with lots of shade. We've tried everything on the menu and keep going back!Turkey is my favorite, hubby loves the pulled pork & brisket, and the sandwiches are big enough to share.

Zero stars. No. No good. 16 bucks. Some strange old man and his dog sat with me at my table when I sat down to eat. A stranger!! Yuk! Horrible experience! Bad food. Mac and cheese very greasy. The whole vibe there ugh, just bad experience. It may be good for others. Enjoy. My experience was too intrusive by that old man who took the liberty to sit at my table UNINVITED. A COMPLETE STRANGER.

Picked up a sh**ton of various meats for some Austin folks stopping by Our place in Rockport on the way home from Port A. Everyone fell in love at first bite! 10-20% cheaper than Austin que, it was purely on point. All of it. I especially like the spicy peach based barbecue sauce. I've been gnawing on it all day... as sandwiches, tacos, etc. World Class. In Rockport. Welcome!!!

Yummmmmm! Super excited to see some new food coming to Rockport! The bbq was fantastic, and they had a super cool vibe.Also, the banana pudding was excellent. Living in Texas we eat a lot of bbq, and the bbq here made the top of our list. Also the folks were super nice. BYOB too!

Great brisket. We had a brisket sandwich on Texas toast and it was amazing. So had the biggest loaded baked potato ever topped with brisket, beans and cheese. Will definitely eat there again.

Best BBQ we have found so far in the Rockport area. We had four people in our party the first time and pretty much tried all the meats on the menu. Brisket, excellent, pulled pork very good, Turkey excellent, sausage very good. Ribs excellent. The Elote side and the pinto beans also excellent. Highly recommend

At this point they can take my paycheck! The food is great and the owner is so nice! The lady who typically takes orders is also the absolute sweetest. My fiancé and I look forward to eating here occasionally! Gummies is definitely the best name in my opinion!!!! The building is always clean but I wish they had a bigger space :)
