Gulfway Barber Shop

Stopped by on a recent trip back to Corpus - seeing some changes in the old school barbers from when I lived there, I looked to try GulfwayI do prefer the old school, come in and wait your turn, lather and a razor to clean up the neck afterwards, kind of barber - and these guys met all those preferences.I was very happy with the hair cut I got here

If you want to get a haircut or beard trim this is the place. This is the barber shop I grew up with my dad in North Texas. It's way better than those chains and you support local guys that live in corpus not some other city far away. I also got a top notch trim and haircut in 15-20 mins. The vibe is calm and enjoyable with great music.

Great goatee trim. Younger barber closest to the door (bad remembering names) shaved my head for me. I always screw that up but this was perfect. I am from out of town otherwise this would be my go to shop and barber

Walked in with "covid hair" (overgrown and shabby). Walked out looking great. Tony really came through for me. Very professional work done with a personable demeanor. My hairstyle is short on the sides, and enough body on top to keep it from spiking up despite some "cow licks." This style requires skill in blending from short to long, and Tony did that perfectly while making it look easy. I am impressed.

Had to get my beard lined up for a wedding. Tony got me looking right! Highly recommend!

Great classic barbershop. The cuts are great. The price is great. And really has a classic vibe that's lost in regard to chain shops.

A real Barber Shop, fantastic barbers. Tony always gets us fixed up nicely. Highly recommend. Sometimes there's a wait but it's always worth it.
