Coming from Rancho California RV Resort, which is a luxury 5stars resort in Southern California on wine country, I have high expectations. Gulf Waters is just alright for me. Yes, I paid for a luxury premium site which is pull-in for a Class A motorhome. Yes, I am facing the pond and about 10min walk to the boardwalk and beach. But the downside is kids are very far from the pool in front. No trash pickup onsite so you must pack your trash back out front. No fishing as apparently the ponds have protected species. Very narrow streets inside the resort (narrow for big rigs anyway, and especially with kids biking on those same streets, folks walking their dogs, lots of gas-powered golf carts thundering back and forth). No separate cart paths for those folks and they share the narrow streets with your rigs. For that reason, I'd say this resort is only 4 stars for the price.

I've been coming here for over 10 years, and I like the facility. The ceaseless insurrectionist shtick -- even one of their own maintenance carts has the ironic "We The People" banner -- is really tiring.Elsewhere, resorts are exercising their right to curtail this passive aggression engineered to make some guests feel threatened, uncomfortable. For that reason, about 30% of the RVing population might choose to go somewhere more welcoming.Once Gulf Waters puts an end to these angry shenanigans, it will be the crown jewel of Port Aransas.

Great location. Most RV spaces on one of the three large ponds and the beach is right on the other side of the dune - 5 min walk. Great pool and clubhouse. Loved everything but the mosquitoes, but that's nature.

This is Rv park is truly a Resort! The staff was friendly and helpful. The sites are large enough that you feel like you have your own space. We loved that our site (735) had its own eating area outside, within a sink, mini fridge, and prep area. There was plenty of room to park our truck after getting our TT set up. You can bring a golf cart or rent one to run around in. You can even drive it over the boardwalk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back soon.

Would absolutely come back here. Clean, nice pool, nice people, nice rv spaces - fancy even. Only complaint is that it's at least six miles to a restaurant or bar. We had bikes and not interested in spending $100 a day to rent a golf cart. But would def come back. Probably the nicest rv park we have stayed at between Los Angeles and south Texas.

What can I say, other than it's, by far, the nicest RV park I've visited. Yep, its expensive, but you really get more, in my view, at this RV park.Pros:-Right on the beach. My advice: Get one of the sites in the rear of the park, which is a very short walk over the boardwalk, to the beach.-Premium sites. Spend the extra loot, and get a premium site on the pond. These sites are spacious, level, and many have pergolas and outdoor kitchens.-Golf carts are allowed, but they only allow you to rent from one vendor. This is fine, as he's reasonably priced, and delivers the carts to your site. -Pool. It's amazingly clean, for a RV park. An added bonus- they have adult only hours (5-6p & 9-10p). Beer at the pool. Yep, they don't give you grief over this. Cheers!Cons:I honestly can't think of any. Other than, it's hard AF to get reservations here. Some will complain that they have a rule that any rigs older than 10 years, aren't allowed. Yes, this is their rule, but I like the fact that they keep this park absolutely spotless. We will definitely return in the spring or summer.

No complaints with this park but don't be fooled by the term "beach front". No water to be seen from any spot here unless it's one of their small lakes. First class so it's Expensive. Expectations lead to disappointment, I know but I was looking for an ocean view.

We love it here! It's a beautiful park, definitely a resort. Come here every year, and really enjoy it. We love how close it is to the beach, and the staff is super friendly! Mrs. Susi (part of the staff) was so kind to us, and everyone made us feel at home. We'll be coming back! Can't wait for next year!
