Wow, this guy totally GYPPED us!!!!!! We were visiting and were totally new to town. We asked him to take us to the town and told him that we were new to the area. For 2 miles ride, he charged us $15. We later found out from many different taxi services and hotels around here that the ride that he took us should've only cost $5!!!!! An OVERCHARGE of $10 simply because he knew that we were new and that we knew nothing about the pricing here. Absolutely do not give this guy any business. The guy lies and runs a shady practice!!!!!!

Called (361) 749-0850 to schedule a pick up with a taxi after leaving a family gathering. Spoke with an unknown female that answered the telephone. I informed her that I would like to have a taxi pick us up at the location. I was informed that we needed to "go out front" and the taxi would be there in approximately 10 minutes. Immediately walked to the front of the building and waited for approximately 30 minutes after having seen the white taxi van but not stop. I simply wanted to make sure we were in the correct spot or to verify if that was the taxi we should be waiting on. I spoke with the same female and informed her that I wanted to make sure that was the correct van. I was told "I told you to be out front!" I informed her that we were out front when it had originally passed by. I was then told "the van is there waiting on yall!" I was then hung up on. I walked the entire four corners of the location and did not see the van. After arranging an alternate mode of transportation I observed the white van arrive. I informed the driver that due to the complete unprofessionalism of the dispatcher, I would not be spending my money with the company. The driver was very understanding and continued on his way. This was completely unprofessional and ultimately makes the drivers and company loose money. If it comes between walking to your destination or paying Gulf Coast Taxi, I would recommend walking!

Our driver showed up on time and made our trip to the airport easy and seamless! If you're needing a ride in Port A, this is the place to call!

Friendly, clean and well maintained vehicles. Driver was very nice and showed up really quickly.

Laurie was the driver and she was prompt and professional. Arrived when she said and took us exactly where we needed to get a rental after a disaster day of car trouble the prior day... Very friendly, nice clean vehicle, and entertaining conversation. Definitely recommended for local transportation!

Excellent service. Ordered ahead to take my daughter from Port Aransas to Corpus Christi airport. 5pm on Friday. My daughter's first time on her own.They were prompt, courteous, and friendly. May have been a little higher than the other guys but their service is worth it.Thank you Gulf Coast Taxi!

Awful. Said they would be there in 15 minutes. It's now over 40 min. They ghosted need and never showed up and stopped answering the phone. Guy on the phone was rude WASTED MY TIME WHEN I WAS IN A HURRY. Shittiest service ever

Worst service a cab company could offer. We had a group of 10 people waiting about 90 minutes to go to port aransas for a college reunion and after about 2 hours and 15+ calls they finally picked up just to tell us that their driver was sick. Operator couldn't even spell a three letter word if you paid her 100$. Horrible company
