Grand Eagle Ford Lodge

The cabins are clean, beds are comfortable, air conditioner works well. The location is quiet. The cleaning staff are very nice and friendly. They will help you any way they can. The manager is a little standoffish. The other residents keep to them selves. Not a bad place to stay in these desolate surroundings. The only knock that I have is the advertisement of "free laundry". The three washers and three driers are a joke. It takes 3 1/2 hours to do one load. It also smells kinda funky. I drive to Jourdanton to do laundry. I was supposed to check out a different place, but never got around to it.... so, here I am again....
