Good Shepherd's Corner

We were looking forward to checking out this thrift store, but we never made it out of the car door. We pulled up near the front entrance and were immediately confronted by an aggressive young homeless man wanting money. He wouldn't let me get out of the car and then started angrily lecturing me. There were other indigent people around the entrance as well so we just backed up and left. I'm all for helping the poor, but when they obstruct your business and prevent your customers from coming in, then your business suffers.

Great place to shop; ladies and men's clothes, furniture, jewelry, hats, shoes, kitchen ware and helpful people. Merchandise is quality and prices drop on a regular basis~ have to learn how to read the ticket. This consignment/resale/thrift store has been around for over 50 years.

Nicely organized selections and spacious. I thought prices were a little high for thrifting and most clothing seemed dated. I love classic outfits but the selection here seemed to be largely what was once trendy clothes from 20 years ago. One nice feature is the price tags, which have an initial price and shows the dates when the price will lower; could be helpful if you like something but it's over budget, you could plan to come back the day the price drops!I didn't spend a lot of time so if I'd hunted more fervently, maybe I would have been rewarded; seems there are better options in Corpus though so I doubt I'll be back.

First time here. The ladies are very nice and friendly. Some cute household goods. Also bought a nice leather purse. Reasonable prices for resale. Check it out!
