Golden Crown is located on Everhart near the Saratoga cross street. The store front looks small but the interior is surprisingly big. The interior is stuck in a time warp with older style decorations and everything the color pink. I don't mind that if the food is good but it was nothing great. The portion size for my lunch special was very generous! It came with egg drop soup and cripsy wontons. Unfortunately, my garlic chicken entree had no flavor. It definitely needed soy sauce and garlic. It was nice that I had enough for another meal and pricing was okay ($12+) but I don't want to pay and doctor my meal up at home. I also ordered a hot and sour soup take out which had all of the right ingredients in them. It was just missing the savory and sourness that I have come to expect when having this soup. Overall, prices are not bad here (for lunch) but the food is not worth the price.

Everything here that we had was absolutely wonderful. There was so many options to choose from. They had a Hibachi grill, sushi, American food, and Chinese food. We did not have to wait at all. Service was fast. Food tasted fresh and it is affordable.

Very outdated pink decor but clean. Not crowded on a Wednesday night. We ordered two dinner specials (served with soup, rice and eggroll) - cashew chicken and beef w/snow peas. The eggdrop soup was very tasty, the entrees bland with gloppy sauce and lots of celery. Large portions but my plate had at least two tablespoons of oil glistening on it, surprising since my entree wasn't fried? Not very appetizing. The eggroll was strangely tasteless and cold, not crispy. Service was friendly and attentive. Total for two entrees and two teas was $42.31 without tip included.

Your average Chinese joint. Inside is a wanna-be-fancy vibe, not my fav. Food is your every day Chinese. Sesame chicken was heavy on the breading. Never had sesame chicken with that much breading, has a Big Crunch to it. General Tso, beef & broccoli, & egg rolls were delicious. Fried rice tasted reheated, probably the worst thing there. Service was fast and friendly. Prices are high, but you can share between 2 or 3 people. My sesame chicken made 3 meals. Good place to get Chinese takeout, you can skip eating inside.

Went there the first time with my Chinese wife last week, and was happily surprised at the quality, quan8ty and proce of their food and service. It is very competitive with any other Chinese restaurant in Corpus. We will be going back this week to explore different plates.

Glad to see nothing has changed...Still the best Pan Fried Dumplings on the planet. Still the best service and friendly employees. Tonight the General Beef as well as the General Chicken were excellent. It's a long drive to and from Port Aransas but worth the effort. We'll be back soon.

Small place big plates !! Great hidden gem . The food was great and the service was great . I had lemon chicken and fried rice . The chicken had a great flavor and bite to it , it was not rubbery. The plates are huge ! Had to take leftovers ! Def check this place out !!
