Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

I read the reviews and I was a little concerned. I am glad we did not avoid this place. The service from Alma was outstanding! My glass never went empty. The buffet selections were in abundance. There was so many items. The salad bar was fresh and delicious. The chicken was moist, roast was superb and steaks cooked just right. The vegetable and side dishes did not disappoint. It was very crowded at 3:30 pm on Tuesday and the staff did their best to clean tables as people left. We will be back. Thanks for great food and service

We had a party of three adults, two kids and a baby. They had stockings hanging from the ceiling with names of employees, such as cute touch! I have never had Golden Corral for breakfast. We arrived half an hour before the switch to lunch. I was genuinely surprised at the variety of breakfast foods offered and hot and still serving at that time. They had everything from waffles, pancakes, chorizo con huevos, ham, French toast to cereal and yogurt. Their biscuits and sausage gravy, has brown casserole and ham were a favorite on my plate! I always look forward to going to this location, it never disappoints. I cannot get this quality in Houston!

Hands down the best Golden Corral Buffet we've been to across the United States!! We travel full time and miss the home style meals so we definitely enjoy a Golden Corral once in awhile. This particular location was outstanding! The food was all hot and fresh and full, we never saw an empty spot in any of the stations. The vegetables on the salad bar were being filled nearly constantly and the desserts were all nice and freshly put out, nothing seemed old or stale. The hot food stations were all being stocked constantly and workers were steadily monitoring temps and freshness. Even the onion rings were crispy and hot!! I took a couple pictures but it's hard to get a pretty plate at a buffet! Our server was also very attentive, clearing our plates as soon as we pushed them to the edge and filling our waters regularly. This location can definitely be a role model for all other Golden Corrals!

I was asked by the head manager to stop coming here a few weeks ago because I eat mainly steak. I knew something was up when I noticed him stalking me for about a month or so. I quit coming here, but upon learning of his retirement, I have returned. They now charge $2.15 (including tax) per steak. I was told it was this location only. Sadly, I will not be able to return. My feelings are hurt tremendously.

Could be a little more friendly on the customer service side. Other than that my hat goes off to the chefs keeping this establishment up float. The food was scary good. It's like one minute you're Fungry and the next minute you're on your 5th plate wondering if you'll be able to finish it.No matter how much you eat, you will still try to get desert. They have an ice cream machine that's also self serve. So my advice to you. Is portion yourself to enjoy everything they offer.

While I do LOVE steak during their dinner menu, what makes Golden Corral really shine imo is their breakfast buffet when available. Delicious barbacoa, personally customized omelettes, & unlimited pancakes/bacon/sausage/scrambled eggs definitely makes this my favorite spot for breakfast. My only complaint is that it's only available during the weekend! If you haven't tried it & are a fan of anything breakfast/brunch I can't recommend their breakfast enough!

Most all Golden Corrals are the same everywhere. This one is no exception. Clean, great service and wonderful foods.

Corpus Christi Golden Corral.Nasty food. Nasty restroom.I love GC, but not this one. It's just under par.

The team at the Corpus Christi location exceeded our expectations. We needed a full ham and sides feast for a special family event. Even though our need was before the typical holiday feast period, they carefully took my order and explained my options. We picked up the fully-cooked feast on October 14th annd everything was delicious! We will definitely be back during the upcoming holiday season. Thanks for the great service and high quality food.

Something kept dripping from the ceiling on me and my food. The manager did not care. He just said he could move our table after it dripped in our food and our drinks. A waiter never checked up on us. A guy who wasn't our waiter came and refilled our drinks, and was very helpful.
