Gloria's Restaurant

Passed by here many times and finally stopped in. Just got some breakfast tacos to go. Fresh tortillas were good. Will have to go back and try some more. Super nice people inside.

Passed through Kenedy on the way from Austin to Corpus Christi and thought Gloria's looked like a friendly place to stop for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that they serve breakfast all day. I had a chorizo & egg taco and a migas taco on what might be the best flour tortillas I've ever had--they were clearly handmade, fresh, thick, charred slightly on the surface but still soft--so good. The fresh pico de gallo we were brought was spicy and flavorful from the fresh jalapeños and cilantro and I could tell everything was just made with care. Service was friendly and warm, and prices were completely fair. This is the type of comforting place I wish was closer to Austin, because I would go here again!

Under cooked over easy eggs tortillas were dry. Beans taste old. Such a disappointment

Gloria's restaurant I love there Christy and Ann plate all her food is delicious. Gloria treats you like family and I love that a lot. Gloria is an awesome lady. Her employees are wonderful.
