Gina's Cafe

Very clean, Great costumer service and the Food is yummy!! Their flour tortillas are big! 1 taco is good enough, my son couldn't finish it. The waitress was really nice and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our order.

Loved it... authentic mexican breakfast... Nice little hole in the wall close to a retirement community//

Got the Carne Guisada. It tasted like it was canned meat. Aside from not tasting good, the beans were so runny they meshed with the meat gravy. I ate the rice, but even that was just ok. It was like steamed sticky rice with tomato sauce. Maybe it was a bad day for them but it really was not edible. The service was good.

Pretty good! Great prices and good food. We went for breakfast. The server was so nice and explained everything to us without talking down to us. I'm pretty sure this is a hidden gem, and I'm glad we found it :)

Breakfast at Gina's....a must Brownsville experience. We always treat our out of state guests and they are amazed at the tasty tortillas, crispy homemade. Prices cannot be beat. Also recommend the buffet lunch. Always fire trucks and police cars there. Like truckdrivers, they know where to EAT!!!

It was my first time visiting this restaurant and I don't really care for another visit. I didnt have a terrible experience but my visit wasn't great either. I ordered a Tampiquena hoping to get a cut of meat like I had at another Mexican restaurant in Houston. The waitress got my order wrong and I had a plate with a thin cut of bistec, where as a Tampiquena is a thicker cut of fajita. The waitress apologized halfway through me eating my plate and I wasn't about to wait another 15 minutes to get my cut of meat. I guess what bothered me the most was that I told the waitress about an incident where I ordered a tampiquena and got something completely different and I asked her to describe the plate and I still didn't get it. I guess I will have to go too Taqueria Del Sol in Houston to fulfill my craving.

Great breakfast try the Divorced Eggs and get some tasty tacos. Coffee was above average and service was excellent.
