GiGi's Pizzeria

Stopped here after reading reviews on Yelp. A lot of local pizza places close mid afternoon so we gave GI Gi's a try. It's in an unassuming strip mall with no flair, but don't be dissuaded. Sometimes places with great atmosphere have crappy food. The pizza was really good! I have multiple food sensitivities to preservatives and my body tells me when food isn't fresh and I had no issues or reflux at all with our food afterwards. We had the hand-tossed with mushroom, red onion and basil. Lip smacking. It was pizza for one, but the two of us had no issue being satisfied. We left not a crumb. Will def go back if we're out this way again!

This is a cute little pizza place in a stripe mall. If I hadn't used yelp I would have passed it by which would have been a mistake. You need to go to the counter to order and then find a table and they bring it to you. The young man that took my order was very nice and even checked on us after we started to eat to make sure everything was ok. The place was clean with minimal decorations on the wall. If in the area again I would for sure come back.

So far, I have enjoyed everything that I have ordered at Gigi's. Pizza crust is great. Has a little crisp on the outside and a little chew on the inside. Sauce is not overwhelming and they are pretty reasonable with the toppings. Pizza for one is a good deal, especially if everybody wants something different plus comes with a drink. Good place to have a pizza by yourself and not feel like you have to eat a whole medium or large and one sitting.The only thing I have not been a fan of the wings. They seem to me to be frozen, almost Tyson, chicken quality, buffalo wings. They are prepared and arrive at the table somewhat of a soggy skin nature. I am more of a crispy wing type of person, but that's just my opinion.

Stopped at Gigis for the first time tonight and was pleasantly surprised. The cheese pizza was thin, crispy, and had a good balance of sauce and cheese. We ordered a 16" and the crisp held through to the last slice. We did eat in, and a box can take a pizza down a few notches, so I'll have to get takeout next time to see how it holds up. Nonetheless, this is the best electric oven pizza in Corpus and it's not even close. Kudos to the owner for not following the majority of pizza places in Corpus that serve doughy undercooked pies with too much cheese and not nearly enough sauce.

Amazing pizza! I had the King without the Jalapeños and OMG, the pizza came to us piping hot that the pepperoni was still smoking! Best tasting pizza in Corpus Christi! I promise! There was no flop in the pizza. The pizza was crunchy and dough had a great taste! The crust wasn't too thick nor too thin, it was perfect amount of thickness! The pizza arrived in a relatively short time!The service was great, the man at the counter was very hospitable and was welcoming to us first timers! The ambiance was relaxing. My family and I felt comfortable being there! We will very gladly return!!!

Food was sooo good! We had The Freddie, pepperoni, and the buffalo wings! I wish I took a picture but we ate it too fast lol The service was awesome, the guy that checked us out checked on us and was was super nice.The place is very cute too, it's a good vibe and is very clean.

Food amazing! Service quick and great! So calm looking! Best place to go to. Ambiance is so chill and comfortable!

One of the better pizzerias in Corpus; however their chicken is beyond dry and they do not have many specialty pizzas. I ordered a three topping large and it cost 33$

excelent people, nice polite and neat and clean and super-hard-working..... service and consideration is great.....ordered one 18 inch pizza: good choices...product problems though dough outweighs cheese about 4 to 1 by weight....i had one meat topping (salt seems to outweight meat by 1.5 to 1)---good tomato sauce but hard to find ....about 17 ounces of dough, about 7 ounces of box, about 5 ounces of cheese, about 4 ounces of sauce, about 3 ounces of meat, about 5 ounces of salt....overall excellent mexican pizza, not italian..... less than $24 dollars out-the-door ....estimate of $12 a pound
