Garcias

I visited Garcias for lunch when I wasn't feeling my best. I swear the chicken soup healed my soul. Also the service was quick and efficient.

We stopped in for a late lunch and this place was great! We enjoyed a small tortilla soup and a chalupa for $12 (what?) so reasonable and delicious! The lunch specials were a perfect amount t of food and lived their chips, guacamole and salsa!! And everyone who works here was soooo nice! And saw they had a full bar! what more could one ask for?

Food is good, but why are your to-go orders smaller than dine in plates? This isn't the first time it's happened. The sad looking photo is my Huevos Mexican breakfast plate. We ordered two. Guess we should opt for dine in from now on.

Consistent standard Mexican fare. Inexpensive and tasty. I do wish the food came out a bit hotter (temperature wise). Today was a bit annoying but I was too tired to push the issue... I guess because I was dining for one person, I was given a micro salsa bowl. When I asked for more... she said that was the only size they have. Now mind you, I'm watching waitresses bring out bowls (normal size) to other tables and even saw a table for two (different server) right next to me where each had there own normal size bowl. She refilled my tiny bowl frequently but it just annoyed me that I had to try and dip my chips in that teeny bowl. I don't eat here often. And I did eat all of this food pictured. Then felt like I needed to nap.

My wife and I had to stop by the food here is so good. You can tell by the pictures. They have great tasting salsa and carne guisada was soo tender, the enchiladas were the bomb.

I have become addicted to the beef fajita quesadilla here at Garcia's. I crave them. It kills me when I pass through San Marcos and we don't stop. Breakfast is just as awesome and the food is always on point. They also turned me into a salsa eater....but only their salsa. I love this place!!!

food is ok.. not great..( got a bit sicky last few times I ate there)..also, why dont they have a larger waiting area ?? they have that whole patio that they never use..make part of it a waiitng area...place could be alot better..

Meh. Just meh. I've ordered thru door dash and had multiple issues but kept ordering because of the food. Well last time not only did they leave an item out of my delivery order, after I got credit and reordered the item, it came and was wrong size. When I called Garcia's the woman I spoke to who said she was the manager was extremely rude. All she kept saying was call door dash, call door dash like a broken record. It was Garcia's mistake both times and zero accountability. Will never eat there again. Food quality has gone downhill, service sucks, frankly the food is no longer worth a hassle. So very very sad. They should realize SM now Mexican food on every corner in every style. Garcia's needs to get over themselves
