Gabriela's Seafood + Tapas

Great service and the employees are all super friendly! Sat at the bar and had cocktails and several small plates. Everything was delish!

It's a really decent restaurant and I highly recommend it if I can if you love seafood or very adventurous with your palette. (BTW it might not be for everyone), I've went there at night which gives it a very interesting experience including the upstairs area it was pretty fancy. (A little expensive but get hey it was worth it LOL)It had really good service and the people that served us were really nice and I've got the tortilla chips and got the Mahi Mahi tacos which were amazing! They do a good job with cooking their fish and is freshly caught. KUDOS!!!

Arrived at 9 pm Restaurant closed at 10 Greeted and were informed immediately what time kitchen would close. This was nice by letting us know we had to be quick on our feet to order. Sat upstairs/outdoor ambiance. All waitresses and host were sweet, social, and helpful. Ordered apps, dinner and drinks. Food was amazing even at closing time. Quality and quantity was on point! Ordered the tuna watermelon salad, ceviche, grilled shrimp for the little one, and paella dishes. Everything was amazing and flavorful and different. Pretty good for a small town. We visit my parents once or twice while they snowbird in Rockport, and we were looking for a new experience and place to eat and found Gabriela's. What a treat!We ordered several things to share (it is a tapas restaurant), and we didn't have any bad bites!Chili shrimp is 10/10 and I could have this for a meal. The tacos are filled with plenty of fish (shrimp or mahi) and they are hearty. The corn ribs have an excellent flavor though they are a little challenging to eat. It was worth how messy they are, though. The patatas bravas are excellent and I noticed some reviews that said they wanted the aioli but since this isn't Spanish tapas, I didn't except it and they were still delicious. The serving is a good size for sharing too. The croquettes bacaloao are made with cod and not the salt cured kind that you get in Spain so they are tasty. The albóndigas are a treat and a nice size for sharing. The wine list is limited and we couldn't order a bottle (at least we didn't see this option on the menu) and the Paloma's are excellent!For dessert we all shared both the Pie de Limon and the chocolate almond torte. Both were delicious and the key lime was exceptional. The service is great with efficient and friendly staff (my only suggestion is that we didn't get the specials given to us and we forgot to ask and the special was a seafood lasagne that looked amazing!). It is a small and tastefully decorated restaurant and I'm sure they will keep getting better and better. What a treat for this town!

This restaurant has been open for a while but it was our first time trying and didn't disappoint! Tapas style food that comes out in rounds so you can order as much or as little as you want. Next time we would go back for more happy hour time because they seem to have good happy hour deals! Pictured are the corn ribs that everyone seemed to be getting and was a 10/10! We came on a rainy day but I think it would be fun to sit on their second deck patio when the weathers nicer - we'll definitely be back!

Best place in Rockport!!We've been here twice, sat in the second floor terrace; with stunning views and the breeze.The food, delicious!! We ordered the Paella, Beef and Goat Cheese Simosas and Gumbo, we also tried the Fish Tacos and the Crab Crostini. All of it was great!100% will come back!

The upper patio is a great place to relax and grab a drink while you watch dolphins play in the bay across the road! The service was great and the food was high quality and QUICK!!

Great spot for a nice dinner with unique food options unlike any other in Rockport! The servers at the bar were happy to answer any questions and offer recommendations. There is a great upstairs part with views of the bay if you can request that. We sat at the bar in the back, so not as good of views, but still great service! We had the tuna tostada, fish and shrimp tacos, corn ribs, and the short rib special they have on Friday night! All of it was incredible and very flavorful. The tuna tostada and corn ribs may have been my favorites (although prepare to get messy with the corn ribs!). If you're looking for a change of atmosphere, this is your spot!

I was super disappointed!! - nothing (almost) on the menu was available, seated late, pricey, and drinks were skimpy; full of Ice =/

Came here with a friend to try out this new restaurant. We arrived right after it opened for the evening and were seated with a lovely view of the bay. Our server was very sweet and explained the drinks and tapas. I ordered a gin with lavender and it had flowers on top. It was so pretty and tasty so I had two. My friend ordered the espresso cocktail with cinnamon on top. We also enjoyed the Ceviche, crab crudités and the fish croquettes. The crab was so good we order two of those. Everything was so pretty when it arrived and nice and hot. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
