Fruit King

Love this place! This is the second location on Morgan and Prescott St. with their parking lot across the street on Prescott. The building inside is clean and they have a great variety of fruits and vegetables. They have some great specials that change often. When I came to this location, they were running a special 4 boxes for $2 for raspberries and blackberries. Follow their Facebook or better, go in person to see what is on sale! They do carry some different product from the Ayers location.

Both Morgan and Airline are fantastic. They bring in the best and most of what's available down south and probably what local grocery stores overstock from USA/MEXICO & overseas, my belief. Prices are low and occasionally they offer crates of bananas, mangos, watermelons, lettuce/romaine are rock bottom prices. Besides low prices, both stores take pride on displays and cleanliness. If their is litter on the floor, it likely originated from a customer and the staff just hasn't gotten to it yet...

This place is fantastic! They have different specials on produce and soooo much cheaper than the grocery store! I got 18lbs of grapes for 4$ yes you read that correctly lol. I'm gonna make sooo much grape juice lol. The produce may not be the perfect looking even shaped like you see at H-E-B but who cares it's fresh and delish and cheap! The employees were very nice with me having questions since it was my first time shopping here.

This place has great prices, but said to say the customer service SUCKS!!! On google it's says that it closes at 6 o clock. I work a full time job and thought I was lucky to make it 5 minutes before it closed! Great! Right? Wrong! The rude employee told me I couldn't go in! What kind of crappy service is that? I used to really like this place. Now I don't. DONT SAY YOU CLOSE AT 6 IF YOURE NOT GOING TO ALLOW YOUR CUSTOMERS TO PURCHASE GROCERIES UNTIL 6 PM!!!! The hours of business on google should say "we close whenever we feel like it, even if we have 3+ customers wanting to make purchases!!! How sad to have such horrible customer service. Might want to rethink the way you run your business!! SO DISAPPOINTED!

Love Fruit King. Wish I lived closer. Great prices on fruits and vegetables. I do enjoy canning produce I buy from there. Thank you Fruit King.
