In town on a hunting trip, this place was recommended as a local spot for a good but large meal. It is definitely a unique place, you wouldn't think much of it from the outside and walking in the old and worn out look might turn some people off but that's part of what gives this place character. The staff is welcoming (Dog was pretty awesome), there's live music (you can join them up onstage), and the food was good. You'll have to try the 16oz T-bone, is quite a site to see and is good. You'll end up going straight to the ER after that load of food, but the place is a must go, for the experience, when you're in town. I have it 4 stars 'cause there aren't half stars and a three wouldn't do the place justice.

Horrible experience! Stay away! The "restaurant" is rundown and filthy. More of an abandoned building with a dirty kitchen in it. All the chairs were broken and it looked like no one had cleaned in about 40 years. Customers were walking in and out of the kitchen to get their own food and beers.Any reasonable health inspector would shut this place down in a heartbeat. The service was awful. It took over an hour and a half for the "waiter" to take our order. By this time they had run out of most of the items on the menu. The waiter was incredibly rude and lacked good hygiene.2 hrs later we got our cold bland food, for which we were over charged by about $20.I'd rather eat at the local gas station than this dump any day.

I've been eating at Frank's (Paco's) since I was a young child and am now a retired teacher. The food is great and the atmosphere one of a kind. If you are in the Hebbronville area you should stop by.

What makes this place for me is the experienced and dated decor , it's like getting lost in the 50's. Nothing fancy but the service was good and damn the steaks were amazing. We will be back for sure. Note: Cash only. And if your a fancy restaurant snob your in the wrong place. Enjoy

This place is awesome. So many great memories of beers and panchos (nachos) at Franks. The mexican food here is in a league all it's own. This place is adorned with Marilyn Monroe memorabilia, only open at night, half bar, pool hall, half restaurant. Great for weekend during hunting season.

If you want to eat while you're hungry and not starving, then have a snack before you come here. It's cash only. The service is crazy slow. They don't like oit of towners. The panchos are distorted nachos, and the food was served cold.

Imagine a 16oz Tbone topped with an 8oz Ribeye. That's what you get for $17 at Franks. Not the best steak but it was cheap and cooked how I ordered it. Probably the best place to eat out of the limited options in the area. Hit the ATM before you come, cash only.

a/k/a Paco's. Wow! It's a different world. This place defines hole in the wall. What a bang for the buck. The Mexican Plate has all you need. The atmosphere is unique. Pool hall, juke box, memorabilia, beer... A perfect stop.

First off order the beef Panchos with guacamole, onions and jalapeños. My buddy ordered the ribeye which wasn't too bad but wasn't the greatest. I ordered the large Mexican plate and was satisfied with what I got. There is only one waiter in te entire place so don't go there if you're in a rush. Also for forget to take a bottle of liquor with you so you can enjoy a stiff drink if need be, you can buy set ups there for it. If liquor doesn't fancy you they also sell beer.

I am not a fan of Mexican food so I am not a reliable source of criticism in that part but the atmosphere is great and welcoming. And honestly, this is the only place in Hebbronville I would suggest a visitor to go to... the ONLY place.
