Some of the best restaurant crawfish. I chose "spicy" and it didn't disappoint. They were too spicy but just great flavor!!! Def get the potatoes with it. This place is quite pricey all around, about 10miles up from victoria in the middle of not much else. You can easily drive by and miss it; but its worth a stop!Other foods we order: crab was good, wish it had more flavor or seasoned butter, Cheese curds are good, Not a fan of beignets; they are nothing like the ones I've had in New Orleans. These were thick and for some reason they filled it with warm chocolate but it didn't say that on the menu. I wouldn't order again.The vibe here is cool tho! It's got a Huge outdoor hangout, just wish the weather was nicer and not so cold and windy the day we visited. Def wish I could've tried one of the cool looking drinks I kept seeing be delivered at tables but we had a 1.5hr drive home with 3 teenagers that aren't mine. I would return again if im ever in that area and recommend a stop in if your passin thru!

We decided to stop for shrimp and were very pleased with this establishment. The food was hot and fresh and very well flavored. I loved the coleslaw. It had a nuanced flavor that was very pleasing. The shrimp were very well prepared and deveined. The Cajun dipping sauce was my favorite while my husband preferred the butter. The fried cheese curds were also a hit.The only thing that would have made this dinner better would be if they provided table side hand washing towels

Everything was great! Hands Down! From greeting walking thru the door, to servers and food... a wonderful experience.

Walk in to a bright & open dining room with Fast, friendly service, fresh sweet tea, and excellent boudin balls. I had the grilled oysters - they were done to perfection, garlicky & buttery with fresh lemons. A side salad & sweet tea finished my meal. I would stop here again!*this would be 5 stars if the boudin balls had been fresh instead of pulled out of a counter warming case

The food here is FANTASTIC and consistent. Ate here two weekends in a row and the food came out each visit timely-fresh and hot. The Bar has excellent service. Mango margarita and XXX draft . We had the Big mama and the serving was perfect. I like that the boil doesn't come out in a butter sauce.Sat inside both times - but the backyard dining area looks great- especially those with kids.We WILL be back!

Boil was good. The 8 shrimp (4 fried and 4 "grilled") for $18.99 not so good. Overall atmosphere was good. Service was nice.

Food was great, but it is rather pricey. The hamburger alone is about $18, and didn't taste as good as a classic homemade burger

Nice option if you're in the area. The seafood boils and fried platters are good. The chicken tenders/sandwiches were less popular with our kids. The chicken and shrimp gumbo is a lighter roux than I usually like, but it was actually very delicious. I would add shrimp next time. The bar has a ton of spirits to choose from and can mix you up whatever you like. Good seating indoors and out. Service is good and friendly.

What a great find on our way from Corpus to Houston. We are definitely adding this to our return list.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Family really enjoyed everything about Franklin's. The play area out back wad great for the kids.
