Five Star Vacation Rentals

We chose to rent a unit at the Kon Tiki resort in Fulton (check out my detailed review) I was concerned about their no refund policy and it did come around to bite me because of a misunderstanding. I booked online what I thought was a unit at the resort, but it was actually a unit next to Highway 35 and nowhere near the water. We were planning on staying in Port Aransas but thought we could save some money by staying in Fulton. After realizing the mistake, they did put us up at the resort, but I had to pay an additional $200 on top of the $700 that I already paid. I can understand why they would have a no refund policy because they do have a responsibility to the property owners to keep these units filled. At least at a hotel you can check out anytime you like if you're not satisfied with your accommodation, but that option is not readily available through this agency.
