Fisherman's Bait & Seafood Market

As a fishing Guide this place always has alive bait that is dead, or dead bait that is old, horrible quality just go down the street there is plenty of other bait shops that will give you better bait and a better price. It has let me down and my customers.

Bought black drum Tuesday, the man said it was fresh, took it to friends house to freeze it in water like I always do and as soon as I unwrapped it I could smell it very strong smell, didn't have time to take it back because I had to get back to kerrville. I kept it frozen and the next night I cooked a filet on the half shell(stinking) and thought after it was cooked with spices it would be ok, wrong!! I ate some- wife couldn't

Showed up 30 min before closing and the guy on the inside waved me away saying go away. Not how to treat costumer's

Stopped in here to pickup fresh seafood cause me and my gf wanted to do a small seafood boil for two. They had a pretty great selection of fresh and good looking products. I ended up going with the large shrimp as well as scallops. I'm not top chef but I do pretty well in the kitchen. These were some of the freshest shrimp I've had in a while though and they were amazing! I'm not much of a scallop person but the ones from here went great in the seafood boil. Amazingly fresh. The prices are a bit on the high end but it's quality so definitely worth every bit. Will definitely return soon.

Nice crew, clean atmosphere, and market items are fresh.Aside from fresh crab, fish filets, and shrimp, they also have a small assortment of fishing gear and snacks. We'll be back!

Newly opened. They offer a wide variety of seafood along with fishing bait. I purchased some #1 ahi tuna today to grill. .Prices are good and so was the tuna. I'll be back for some gulf shrimp on my next visit.

I only like to buy bait from two different shops. I really like the staff at fisherman's. The whole team seems to love their jobs. The quality of bait is always good. If your also looking for fresh fish. They have a really nice selection of whole fish and filets for you guys that can't catch anything.

Great people and awesome selection to chose from. Had a great time looking at all the gear and picking the brain for all the good fishing spots.

Completely rude staff! Helped three people who arrived after us. Made us wait twenty minutes in the sun and when expressed concern on the order of assistance, their response was "if you don't like the service, don't come back". I assume this must the only reason they are the only place who still has live shrimp today. The other places clearly are sold out for a reason. We will drive thirty minutes to get bait elsewhere as opposed to ever go back to this rude service, poor quality, pathetic excuse of a business.
