First Baptist Church

A few years after graduating high school, a friend, who was the youth minister there at the time, asked if I would intern. Of course! Overall it was a good experience but one that I don't believe yours truly was ready for in regard to maturity. Reflecting back on the church as a whole, the teaching and worship were very Biblically based and theologically sound. The doctrine also seemed in line with God's Word. Bro. James Shamburger, who has recently retired from the pastorate there, was a true shepard of God's flock attending First Baptist. If you desire a Body of Christ who have a high appreciation for the traditions of Christendom, look no further. This is a great place to call home, spiritually speaking.
