My creative creation. This place is so beautiful and painting is so therapeutic. Ms Janie and Sam were so helpful and attentive. I will be returning! Clean area and friendly staff. Great pieces to choose from. The price at first seemed a little high but it's all worth it since paint and the glaze and they FIRE IT is all included......so great value !!

I will never forget Melissa and her husband. We stopped in to pick-up our pieces and head back to Austin. Upon starting my car to depart, a very loud bang and excessive gas like smoke released as the car neared blowing up with my child and two dogs in it. They immediately came out with a fire extinguisher to save our lives. My whole life flashed in front of me. These people are saints. This moment in my life is a reminder of life, and the magic in humanity here in Port Aransas and its humble people.

Great establishment for a family fun time especially little ones, glad we went early because it got really packed after noon. So many beautiful pieces to pick from. A little on the pricey side but the memories were worth it. Very helpful and creative staff.

Wow... looking for something for the kids to do on a not so nice day on vacation...Well unless you want to spend a fortune I would not suggest coming here. They do have quite a few things to choose from but the costs on them is pretty crazy! Most of these things you could buy at these prices for completely finished pieces... maybe even less! The space is big... but it was pretty warm in here... and stale... really could have used some air movement. The two young ladies attending to the place were nice but they gave zero direction to our kids on what to do... luckily we have done this kind of thing before... we knew what to do.For the cost... I'd shy away from this location unless you just have money to burn.

Went with my two kids to have a fun afternoon. It turns into a 30 minute hunt for a reasonably priced item for them to paint. The item prices range from incredibly pricey ($40 for a piggy bank!) to borderline insane ($245 for the same light up Christmas tree that Costco sells for $40). On top of that, they tell you shipping starts at $12, which sounds reasonable, until they tell you when checking out that each section of your piece is $12, so $48 to ship two 6 inch jewelry boxes to Houston! To add insult to injury, as we were being informed of the shipping cost (after painting), they told my daughter to go put her apron in their hamper. As she did so, she walked behind her chair, in a very narrow walkway next to huge delicately balanced shelves of ceramics. Her apron knocked a tiny Christmas tree ornament off of the shelf and it broke. The employees didn't bat an eye, and told us it was 50% off charge for any broken items, or 100% if we wanted to paint it! So we were forced to pay another $11.50 for a broken ornament which they kept at the store. There was zero flexibility with this policy or acknowledging that it was stupid. They just lost a customer who comes back annually over an ornament they paid $2.32 for (I looked it up online!)I don't recommend unless you plan to set aside $200 to burn and keep your kids chained to you at all times. Terrible policies and we won't be back! Owner is unreachable at the phone number the employees provided.

Took my daughter here to do ceramics. I thought at 2 years old she'd be too young but she ended up really having fun. Just needed some help from me with getting her situated. They have tons of different ceramics to pick from which are organized by categories. She ended up choosing a small caterpillar. My 17 year old sister picked a cool gnome mug. They have tons of tiles with all the different paints on them on the walls and you get to choose six different paints to use for your piece. They provide all the supplies such as paintbrushes and smocks. They fire the piece and you pick it up all ready to go two days later. The price was reasonable. I'd definitely recommend this if looking for something to do with kids.

Naked pottery that allows you to custom paint to your specs. You choose the piece and up to six colors from a wall of finished pottery squares. After you're finished, you pay and pickup one day later (this gives them time to fire the piece). Super friendly staff made both kids feel comfortable. Prices were fair. Everyone there had to wear masks due to the Covid craze but everyone was having a great time.Idea: they need to do a ladies night!! Free wine with a piece purchase of $20 or more. Just a thought!

My partner and I needed something to do inside and decided to this. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely relaxing time. Great for those with kiddos or without. Can't wait to how the pieces look once they're fired. They will ship them if you can't pick it up before you have to leave to go home.

31st Wedding Anniversary, looking for a fun, local thing to do out of the rain and came upon this really cool looking store. Hung out for about 5 minutes, never greeted and only 2 guests in the store. Could have been a great experience if only someone had said even a quick Hello. Sad, they could not have cared less we were even there!

This is my second year visiting and the staff here is so helpful and friendly! They even let us request and play two songs on their store speakers. This is the perfect indoor activity, take a break from the heat and visit Fire It! It will probably take you about an hour to pick and paint your item and give them 1-2 days to get it complete. If you don't have time to pick it up, they will ship it for you. This is a Port A favorite.
