S'okay. Cocktails goood, especially strawberry jalapeño margarita & pirates punch. Panko breaded seafood is just okay. (The panko is ground; so kind of strange.) Cajun dish was boring. Fried mushrooms appetizer was really good. Cole slaw was basic, but good. Unnamed fish is meh mahi-mahi. Waiting area is very hot & full of mosquitoes. We had family members wait in our vehicle. They did have cold water readily available.Industrial grade furniture, and understandably so. Really hot inside too. Would love to have sat longer and bought more cocktails, but you might as well go where there's a/c to drink & chill.

Service was ok, Food is to expensive. My panko butter fried fish was so buttery I tasted it till next day. $30, for this plate, not worth it. No thanks, like eating straight up melted butter.

We have been coming here for many years and I have never had a bad meal or drink yet! Personally, this place is my go to. Food is always fresh and tasty. Service is A+ and ambiance is great. My favorite is sitting outside by the water, sipping on a cold one and eating my favorite, Garlic Fish. Love this place.

First night in Port A for a little beach vacation over the Thanksgiving holiday. Stopped in at Fins upon arrival... I must admit I was a bit of a skeptic about the restaurant given the tenor of many of the reviews on Yelp and the overall slightly above-average rating. I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the meal we had at Fins! It definitely outperformed my expectations! We started with some skinny margheritas, calamari and onion rings. The margheritas were perfect, not too sweet, and the tajin-rimmed glasses did the trick. Both the calamari and onion rings were perfectly fried, super light batter on both, and served with dipping sauces that paired very well with each dish.The main courses followed with the special of the day, grilled red snapper with Bayou Sauce, grilled shrimp tacos, several po'boys, and little burger sliders for the little ones. All the entrees were very good! The red snapper was cooked perfectly, some rice and grilled green beans on the side. The "bayou sauce" was delicious, subtle spice and creamy goodness. The grilled shrimp tacos were also very good, with a "jalapeno chimichurri" sauce on top that made the dish. All po'boys were HUGE sandwiches, all ingredients fried perfectly! And the "littles" quickly downed the burger sliders. Special shout out to the fries served on all plates, hot, crispy and delicious, likely double-fried, and well-seasoned. We had a bit of a wait, but that's to be expected when you arrive at 6:30pm and have a party of eight. Great opportunity to grab a cocktail at the well-stocked bar and hang out with family out front. Service was excellent, orders taken quickly, food delivered promptly, and check presented timely. Fins delivered a 5-star experience tonight. We'll be back... if not this trip, next time we're down this way. Based upon tonight, highly recommend Fins when you're in Port A!

Excellent seafood and view! I had the fresh grilled mahi mahi. My mom had the coconut shrimp! It was a huge basket and no way to finish it! The server was very attentive and sweet.

First -Time to have such a disappointing experience! Came in from fishing all morning and brought our catch for that delicious garlic sauce ! We were told our redfish fillets and giant Angel fish fillets were not to the cooks specs and he would not cook them, well, this has not happened before and was handled poorly. What a shame. Good-Bye idiot chef cook at Fins...!P.S. We went straight over to @VirginiasOntheBay restaurant and we had our fish cooked all three ways, Panko, Grilled in garlic butter sauce and blackened! What a beautiful presentation!

Went to dinner and sat on the deck. It was really relaxing. We ordered the Crab Cakes and shared the Fried Shrimp. All of it was really good. Our waiter was awesome. He was super attentive and very friendly. I would recommend it for sure!

Excelente. Slow season Monday. Great service, food was fresh, hot & delicious. Fabulous meal

I enjoyed the food but outside in the enclosed eating area, a bird pooped on my hand while I was eating. They didn't come and clean the table and they didn't offer any discount to the meal.
