Go here for breakfast! I can't speak for lunch and dinner, but the variety of options for breakfast is overwhelming and it is good and CHEAP.

Only reason I'm giving them 2 stars, is because the food was descent but service was horrible, my waitress forgot my order completely, while other patrons were getting there food first before me, my waitress ignored me as she walked by, when she finally stopped to ask me if the plate she had was mine, I told her no, and had to tell her again what I had ordered! Won't be coming back here again!

If you like good Mexican food you will enjoy this place. The prices are great. If it says spicy on the menu it means it. Service is good but a but slow when there real busy. If your close by do your self a favor stop in and give them a try.

ordered breakfast barbacoa with scrambled eggs and refried beans.... barbacoa was ok even though it was not that recent, refried beans were ok too, little tasteless i would say, eggs were terrible, the were tasteless literally i would say, almost 12 bucks, more than i expected for the type of food i was served , obviously people who gave 4 stars to this restaurant know so little about Mexican food... I would say even the restaurant was almost empty in a Saturday night service in the kitchen was slow, looks like the cooks were having a good night laughing and making all kind of sounds in the kitchen, the little girl who was my server was nice anyways. ‍ sorry forgot something perhaps the most important of all, salsas are TERRIBLE!!

Nasty, service sucks, rice is terrible and I'm pretty sure the ground beef is pink slime.

This place is nothing exceptional, but at least it is cheap. My wife and I stopped in here for breakfast while on the road. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it's not a real high quality place. I had the eggs with napolitoes a la mexicana and my wife had the egg machacado a la mexicana. The food was not horrible, but it was not great either. It just was the kind of the bland, run of the meal food you might expect out of a TV dinner or can. The staff was decent, not super friendly, but not rude. The only thing that was a stand out about this place was the variety of choices on the breakfast menu. There were many unusual choices on the breakfast menu that you just don't see that commonly at other Mexican restaurants. How many times have you seen a place that serves Huevos Napolitoes? They also had Huevos con Chicharones and many other unique options like that. The bottom line is that if you need a quick cheap breakfast, this place will do. The food taste like it came out of a can, but it is not horrible by any means. I would give the food quality alone 2 stars, but considering the low price and selection, I gave the restaurant a 3 star as a whole. P.S. Don't order the coffee. Now that was truly not worth drinking.

We are giving this business another try after their price increase. I was trusting that the increase of price would be because of the improved the food and facilities. Unfortunately, sadly this was not true. Breakfast is always busy but they do not have competition in the small town leading to slacking of this business. The food, as always, is cold. The potatoes cuts are large but once cut in half they are never cooked throughly through to the center. The steak was very thin, tough, and cold. The mojarra is not fresh. It is frozen and was told needed several minutes to de thaw. The rice is flavorless and taste like horrible leftovers that are ready to be thrown away. It is not fresh! The employees have told me the rice is made either the morning of or the night before in a large batch. When you enter the business you do not smell fresh food being cooked. In fact, you will not smell any food being cooked as if everything is being thawed out and heated up only! The tortillas are not made there. They taste like cheap store bought tortillas. HEB sells more authentic buttery handmade tortillas then this restaurant! The salad size is tiny with minimal vegetables with thick white lettuce. All dishes will be served with all your food items squeezed and piled onto one plate as if they do not want to wash one more extra dish. The only decent item on the menu is the eggs and coffee. The owner of this restaurant should take pride in not only the quality of food they are serving but realize how they are affecting the health of your local community. These are the church goer's, the moms, the dads, the grandmas and grandpas that come to this restaurant daily and weekly assuming you are providing the best meal to them when unfortunately you do not seem to care to provide a warm fresh, health nutritional meal to them at all!!! Wakeup! When you increase prices on your mostly fixed income clients do it because you are making improvements for the sake of your clients. As a owner I would be ashamed to claim your business and hide with guilt knowing what I am feeding my neighbors, friends and community!!!! Make Change for the better out of your heart!

I don't live in bay city but work here and this restaurant is pretty good and the vibes are good too!! Keep up the good work !!

Havent ate here in years, tried the queso and it is really good! Chips the first time was good second time was stale prolly sat out way to long. Chicken fajita taco is pretty good too.
