Perhaps I'm a bit pickier than what I should expect from a hotel at this price point, but I was a bit disappointed with my stay here. While it was conveniently located within 10 minutes of the airport, there weren't a ton of options nearby without requiring a car for meals or even a quick grab and go store if I needed to grab something. The hotel itself is clearly brand new - there was really minimal wear and tear. I could almost smell the fresh paint. However, the cleanliness was not up to par. There were a couple of small hairs on the bathroom floor, a bag folded over the side of the bathroom trash can but not actually lining the trashcan, and what appeared to be a bleach stain on the first washcloth I grabbed. More concerning however was when I was awoken to someone trying to enter my room just before 11pm. I first heard someone trying and failing to enter my room, and it was another guest with luggage. He left after a couple minutes from what I saw in the peep hole and a few minutes later, the front desk person came and opened the door. Thankfully, they deadbolt worked, but this was quite startling and left me feeling really uneasy. The front desk person apologized when I went to open the door and said she didn't realize that this room was occupied, so there is definitely room for improvement to ensure that this doesn't happen to other guests. When I went downstairs in the morning, the front desk person was so apologetic and so nice. I appreciated learning that there were some issues with the computer that led to that happening. Regardless, I struggled to fall back asleep and feel secure in my room and I'm glad it was just a 1 night stay for me...

Had to stay here for a full week for work during a big rain storm. Rain was leaking into my room and running in the windows. Just now I was washing my face with a wash cloth in the shower, opened my eyes, and it was full of SOMEONE ELSE'S body hair! I could not be more disgusted. Several rude employees as well and I felt unwelcome and disregarded throughout my stay.

I made the unfortunate mistake of spending my vacation with my family at your Corpus Christi location at 522 South Padre Island Drive. Upon arrival one room was not made. This room is where my daughters were staying and were harassed by a male housekeeper who was also swearing while my 10 year old was present. I immediately went down to the front desk and was told that the General Manager would contact me. 72 hours later nothing! When I went back to the desk the clerk told me I had to come down when she was here to talk to her. I did not know I had to do her job for her. In my second room there was a strong and foul odor which I was able to identify as black mold. Beware of this establishment as the management here does not address customer concerns. The manager Tammy Ramirez believes that she does not have to respond to customers nor their concerns as for a third and final attempt I went down to the front desk and was told by the clerk that if I wanted to speak to her I would have to catch her while she was there. DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is mis managed and poorly run.

Excellent hotel in Corpus Christi.Fairly new hotel infused with Marriott quality. Fantastic fitness center, with some rooms specifically designed for the hearing impaired. Nice pool is available. Breakfast starts at 0630, and is decent. Restaurants are close by, and the ones we visited were excellent. Bubbas33 stood out. Gas station to fuel up is convenient. Staff are friendly, beds comfortable, and shower pressure was superb.

Disgusting!!!! Don't stay here! Sheets were not changed, you could see the imprint of the people that slept there the night before. When I called the front office to ask for a new room, there were no other rooms available. They did bring me some new sheets but no pillowcases, and I had to make my own bed. The hotel was so noisy. I didn't sleep that night. I couldn't get any coffee in the morning because it wasn't available.! Management is a joke; I called Marriott customer service and that was not any better. I was told the manager would called me .I've stayed in hundreds of a hotel rooms in my lifetime. This was the worst!

Beautiful and new hotel. Large breakfast area. Breakfast starts at 6:30am on weekdays. Wish it started at 6am. Very nice fitness center with 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, some free weights and medicine balls. Pool available. Rooms are nice size. The king size room I had has a nice seating area with desk. Showers have very nice water pressure. If in the area, will stay at it again.
