Dr. Garret is an amazing vet. He is always wise, kind and doesn't spend unnecessary funds. I recommend him highly! He also is helpful with rescues and serves on the board of the largest one of its kind in town. He's excellent and loves animals!

Dirty * Disorganized * Unprofessional * Uncaring That pretty much sums up our visit. The worst part was when Dr Pigott came out to the waiting room unable to diagnose a dog's condition of a Vietnam vet and proceeded to frankly tell him she could put him down tomorrow in front of everyone. I was in tears myself and mortified this wasn't a private conversation. The front desk lady (who wasn't wearing a mask) was yelling at everyone trying to figure out who gave someones pet vaccine shots and no one seemed to have a clue or a way to figure it out. We were in to have a fluid filled bump on my cats ear looked at. They took my cat back and a moment later Dr Pigott comes out to the waiting room and asks me "sooo what's wrong with your cat?" I told her "you're supposed to tell me that." She said she doesn't see anything and whatever he has must be gone. I assured her it wasn't and I could show her so she begrudgingly took me back. After pointing it out she said she didn't know what it was and sent us on our way with a $29 mini exam. I immediately call another vet and had him seen by Dr Moore at Southside Animal Hospital whom I would highly recommend!

Waited an hour and a half just for them to end up telling me they couldn't find my appointment. They also decided to throw away the list that I signed in on. What a terrible place.

Great animal hospital. They have many vets, and they give your animals special one on one attention. Everyone from the ladies who work behind the desk to the vets and techs, is very very upbeat and cares about you and your pets. Vets , techs, and everyone employed there are very skilled and you know you have your animals in the right hands

Brought my puppy here after moving from another city, I guess no doctors reviewed his previous medical history that I provided because they missed that he needed his next parvo shot. Had to go back the next day after telling them they missed it. I switched vets after that, and just found out that they also missed that he needed his next bordetella vaccination. Do not come here unless you know exactly what your puppy needs, because they won't. The staff was friendly and nice, but wish they paid more attention to my puppies needs.

Dr. Garrett has been treating my personal dogs a my foster dogs for a number of years. He is always compassionate and explains things fully. Additionally, I've never left feeling like I've paid for unnecessary tests or prescriptions.

My Son and Daughter in law took their dog here to be spayed and microchipped a couple of years ago. They recently separated and the DIL took the dog and dumped it. When my son called to get the microchip number, this clinic refused, saying that the daughter in law took the dog in and not her husband, my son. Probably resulting in the death of the dog. I thought they were supposed to care about the animals.

This clinic used to be on point. I had to remove three of my dogs due to it becoming impossible to get them in as well as the prices going up. I am very adamant with their heart worm treatments and pay for the yearly shot. I left the dog I rescued there because he has a history of heart worms and the vet clinic I take my 3 to now does not offer the yearly dose. I tried to get him in and no vet is on site so now we have to wait until 09/09. Not only that but I never received any reminders or communication that his shot was due in JUNE! It is September 1st tomorrow! She stated I opted out of texts, but should have received email and usps communication. I checked my email and junk folder but nothing. The last health reminder was for one of my other dogs before I moved them to a new vet back in 2022. They wished my dog a happy bday via email but never a reminder for his heart-worm treatment. He doesn't need a happy bday card, he needs treatment to ensure he sees another bday. I did call at the beginning of the year to ask when it was due because I had not heard anything and was afraid it was past due, but the lady stated I had a few more months and I hung up thinking.... It's okay they will send something, they always have. I was told the shot would be almost $200, the visit another charge, the test another charge, and if the doctor feels they need to do anything else another charge! I loved Garrett, but this clinic has gone down. It is so money driven and the attention to ensure your pet is treated in a timely manner and appropriately is out the window. I will not be returning and already transferring him with the others at their new vet. Now I have to worry that he is heart worm positive again and pay more to treat again due to poor communication. It is crazy that I had my others with this doctor including their dad for over 5 years and always received reminders, now it magically stopped when I pulled the other three and I get nothing for the one I continued to take. Mind you, I paid almost 1k for the other three alone for heart worm visits. It is also funny how I got NO communication for reminders to treat my dog, yet the assistant (being sarcastic) just emailed me my dog's records as soon as we hung up and I received those without even requesting them. So where are the reminders you stated you have sent because my husband can vouch we have not been sent a reminder card in forever when used to receive them regularly. Further, she wrote notes on this paperwork so the new clinic can see and I quote, "Client opted out of texting reminders on 10/03/2023 and is upset because she did not get reminded of pets due dates on shots. I sent all pet records to client, so if she chooses to go to another clinic she has all records available to her and other veterinarian". I am sorry but this is unprofessional to write on my dog's medical record going to a new clinic. This clinic needs to train their staff.Go to a clinic that truly cares and exhibits this through their communication, prices, and how they handle any and all situations!.

Dr. Garrett and his staff were very sweet and patient. My dog has anxiety about vets and was traumatized at Oso then refused service at Belcher since they labeled my dog aggressive. Dr. Garrett took the time to hear my concerns and patiently worked with my dog to finally get his labs and vaccinations done. I am so grateful I found a caring Vet!! 5+ stars!!
