We took our daughter, her husband and our 4 grandchildren to dinner here at Evan's and it was great! Service was wonderful! The owner surprised us a the kids with their own pizza dough and fixins and they cooked them in the brick oven for them! They had a blast! The adults and the kids loved the fun decor! We will definitely go back!

We love supporting new businesses in and around our area and couldn't wait to try out Evan's. We had trouble because the hours were not conducive to our schedule, more our fault than theirs. This evening was finally a chance to visit the new pizza joint in town. Ordering was easy (one sheet menu) and the pizza came out faster than expected. Ordered a 'Meat Lovers' pizza for $24.90 which was more of a meat lovers combo found at any regular pizza joint - think Little Caesar's or Dominos - not enough meat toppings to warrant a true speciality $24.90 brick oven pizza. AND the only size offered is 13 inches. The pizza was tasty, it was good but expectation was higher on both meat toppings and variety of crusts (maybe hand tossed or deep dish ???) And I agree with a previous review, $2.50 for a can of Coke is outrageous even for 2024/2025. The building is small and seating tight inside and with cold weather fast approaching might be better to take home. Yes you can eat outside too. Service was friendly.

Pizza is on point. Definately eat it there, crust goes from perfectly crisp to a little tough overnight in the fridge. But flavor, no comparison to others in town.

My wife and I lived in Italy for nearly 7 years and the pizza there was THE BEST! Now we're always on the hunt for a good pizza and I have to admit, Evan's is pretty dang good!! We'll definitely be back!

Last night was our second time to try Evan's and we love their authentic slightly-charred crust, fresh flavors and rapid turn-around! We brought home a Margherita and an Italian Sausage w Mixed Peppers. This is now our favorite pizza in Victoria Tx. For an authentic slice from Naples you should try this place!

I was excited to try the new pizza place that opened up. When I walked up, I liked the outside atmosphere. The inside was a little small but so is the building. The staff is friendly. The owner seemed nice. I ordered a pepperoni and a meat lovers and 4 canned drinks. The total came out to $50. (Without tip) When I heard the price I asked the size, they are only 13" pizza's. $23 for meat lovers and $17 for pepperoni and $2.50 per can. I was a bit blown away at the prices, but gave it a chance. The pizzas came fast. And that made me weary considering its fire brick. The issue I had with the pizzas wasn't just the size and the price at that point. The bottom was too charred and the ingredients weren't cooked fully. Seemed like the temp was way too high in the oven and cooked the very very thin pizza way too fast on the bottom and not enough time to cook on the top. It was also unfortunate that the pizza didn't stay hot or warm by the time I got home and I had to reheat. I gave it a shot, but I would recommend Paints Pizza over Evan's Fire Brick. Bigger pizza's over there and better priced and better tasting.

We are happy to see a new pizza option in Victoria, especially downtown. We went (party of three) and ordered two pizzas and one salad. Our driver ordered a Coke and the other two of us had beer. You can bring your own beer, or buy some from the bar/club next door (we like this feature, although charging $2.50 for a 12 oz can of Coke seems excessive).. The ordering process was a bit slow but the food arrived quickly. The salad came first, but the ingredients were not as listed on the menu. Among other small differences, the salad contained pepperoni and its recipient is vegetarian. We pointed out the problem, and although they seemed confused that someone would not want extra meat, they corrected it immediately. The pizzas came next. The crust is very thin - almost cracker like (not New York style, which we sort of expected based on their decor, etc.). This suited one of our party perfectly; the other two were a bit disappointed and found it less than filling. The cheese pizza was acceptable - the cheese was also thin. The margarita was better, thanks to the diced tomatoes and fresh basil. Pizza prices were about as expected - considerably more than the chains; if this is your preferred type of pizza, I would say it is worth it, but if not, maybe not. Since they are new and still seem to be settling in, we will likely return. (This is especially true as we understand a microbrewery is in the process of renovating to open around the block.)
