Espi and T's

I've been coming to this restaurant since I was in college, and that was in 2004. The service is excellent and attention is given to the customer to ensure that you always get what you want. If nothing in the menu pleases you, you can order off the menu plates, provided the cooks can prepare it. Being a Mexican style restaurant, chances are they can make a unique combination that will remind you of a Hispanic home. The lemonade is my beverage of choice, as it is au natural. Unlike other restaurants that also make the lemonade from scratch, the amount of sugar is well balanced with the tartness of lemons. The choices are abundant and there are daily specials. The prices are moderate and there are special orders for large parties called parrilladas. Those are a good thing to order to try a little bit of everything. I give this place 5 stars because it's often extremely packed (which bodes well for its taste).

A coworker recommended this place, I decided to give it a try, i came for breakfast the menu for breakfast its just the standard tex-mex menu, very small and casual place, kinda like a hole in the wall, food is good and the service was good, even tho we are in the middle of the pandemic and they were very short staffed they did a good job with the service

This has got to be my go to at least once a week. Awesome breakfast, awesome lunch specials!! Oh and the enchiladas is made w a real home style sauce not just slapped on gravy & cheese like some places (I hate that). Everything is amazing!! Sometimes the service can get frustrating but only cause it gets so packed and it's small but I tell everyone it's worth the wait. I had to update my last review and remove 2 star. I have been in here several times and received the worst service from a waitress w short hair and glasses don't know her name but she is rude and bitter. Which this makes my dine in experience really bad. I haven't been here as often as I wanted to anymore.

Good Mexican food! Chicken enchilad came with plenty of chicken! Yum! And cheesy! Don't have American cheese often other than on enchiladas. Rice and beans were a good accompany to the enchiladas.I had a pineapple cake for dessert, and it was o.k. The homemade Tres Leches cake was sold out. :( I always go for the homemade! I do love the oatmeal during breakfast hours, because it's always on point! Good food, good service and good company! What else could ask for?

The platter in the pic was supposed to feed SIX people. What's more is this cost 61 bucks! I was even more livid when a worker from there was trying to put blame on us for "not checking before we left." SERIOUSLY? The food was mediocre which only enhanced my anger. Never again going here.

We came during the lunch rush. As we walked in, most of the tables were occupied and the remaining tables had dirty dishes. We sat down at a table that needed to be cleaned. We waited more than five minutes for someone to acknowledge us and clean our table. As we waited, one waitress cleaned three empty tables and walked right by us several times and ignored us. Finally, another waitress named Griselda came and cleaned our table and attended us. I have nothing but good things to say about the service from that point on. The food, as always, is delicious. If we didn't enjoy the food, we wouldn't go back. I will say that Griselda was an awesome waitress. Aside from inconsistent service, the food is always excellent.

Small, hidden gem, that is easily forgotten about (but definitely should not be). Espi and T's has been around for years! And for whatever reason.. I don't think about it when I am wanting to go some where with good Mexican food. I am originally from McAllen, now located in SA. The service is excellent, the quality of the food is on point, and the serving sizes are on point. My mom always orders her flour tortillas "a little crispy." Never come out to her standards..but she eats them anyways. Espi and T's nails it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! I was uber excited to see they are offering Abuela's Hot Chocolate during the winter. Our most recent visit was for breakfast on a Sunday. It was a nice crowd for being before 10:30 AM. I ordered the machacado plate. Delish. The beef was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the beans! OMG the beans! The beans were so good! My mom and our friend ordered the Chilequiles, and it was hands down the best chilequiles I have ever had.Do yourself a favor, and come check out this restaurant. Everything is home made! They also have awesome lunch specials!

What more can I say. everything here is delicious. who doesn't like authentic Mexican food. homemade corn, homemade flour, Menudo ,barbacoa the whole nine yards.

Today, August 2, 2024. Very Very disappointed. There were 3 of us. Restaurant was empty. Order 1 full order Panchos, a half order Panchos and a large Beef soup. The Pachos took about 15 minutes. The cheese was not even melted. Only the plate was hot. Soup arrived 15 minutes later, cold. Supposedly new cook. Check to see if new cook don't go. Waitress was good.

Great enchiladas, cheeseburgers and fajitas tacos...rice was a little dry but the refried beans were good. The gentleman attending us was kind, professional and efficient. We definitely be back!!!!
