Ermis’ at Frydek

We love this hidden gem! Great food, incredibly friendly staff, and the atmosphere is what you make of it. If you want a quiet dinner with the jukebox playing, then you can sit inside. If you want to enjoy the weather and a group of friends, head out to the patio. Specials are always fabulous, but you will not go wrong with anything ordered from the menu. Appetizers are great, the meals are great, portions are perfect! If I could talk about every item, I would but you'd quit reading! Get out of the city, follow a country road, and come find this place!

I enjoyed lunch at Ermis' today with my family - our first visit. It's a refurbished gas station and has an old Texas look and feel, plus the waitstaff were very nice and helpful. We had wings, burgers, fries, and CFS. Everything cooked from scratch and very good!It's only a 20 min drive from Cross Creek/Fulshear. We will be regular customers!

My wife and I heard about a new restaurant in Frydek named Ermis' at Frydek. We ate there twice in the same week - once for lunch and once for dinner. The proprietors opened the place in an existing older building in the little town.There is an inside, sit-down restaurant and plentiful covered outdoor seating. The inside was very clean and nicely set up for a casual meal. The outside is also nicely set up and would be a great place for live music, which the waitress advised happens on weekends.The menu is simple and straightforward, offering a variety of burgers, wings and pizza. It also has complete entrees, salads and a variety of appetizers. There was beer and wine available, as well as the usual soft drinks and tea.We had fried pickles, a grilled chicken sandwich, a Cobb salad, fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Everything appeared homemade and was served promptly and hot.The service both times was excellent.If you are ever in Frydek (a few miles SE of Sealy), you would do well to swing in for a meal, a beer and maybe even some live music.Highly recommend.

My husband had chicken fried steak & I had chicken tenders. Very crispy & delicious breading! He said that the mashed potatoes were really good, too. I had in-house made Ranch dressing with my tenders and would buy it to take home, if that was possible. So yummy!! Now, I can't forget the baked Mac & cheese. We ordered a side & shared it. Highly recommend! Totally tasty! We enjoyed the friendly & attentive service in a relaxed atmosphere.

Nice quiet location with good food and ambiance. Worth a detour off 10, can drive backroads back to Katy after.
