Emiliano's Mexican Grill

I was very impressed with the decor, ambiance, service, and food at this restaurant in downtown Yoakum. Wow, what a great place to fill the void in an otherwise lackluster business district. Since Mom and I were eating during non-peak time, we had the pick of the house for tables to sit at. I ordered the enchiladas. (I'm easy to please.) Mom had the nachos with a mix of beef and chicken as a topping. Utterly delicious! The food was literally plate-licking good. Definitely eat here if you're ever in town.

Based on a recommendation from the front desk at our motel for a place with good margaritas we went here.Fun decor and popular place, you do park on the street in parallel parking spots but as most businesses are closed it is not a big challenge.A small Mexican food restaurant it has a good sized menu without being overwhelming. Staff was friendly and fast though in the short time we were there food and dishes were dropped two or three times.I got my usual chicken fajitas which had huge flour tortillas and large pieces of chicken which were fine but middle of the run flavor wise. A few pieces a bit dry.We got queso which again a large serving but just ok. Shana got street tacos with beef and sliced avocados on the side and Charo beans. She enjoyed it, a 4 of of 5 according to her.We did our signature move of ordering each other's first drink. She got me the Texas flag margarita and I got her the Mexican flag margarita. Mine was smooth and had a sweet taste I really enjoyed. They were layered with flag colors.It seems like a popular local place but while we were there it was busy but never overwhelming. Lots of families so heads up if kids bother you. Outside there are two small benches where the legs are dogs. Also a statue of a Mexican cowboy was in the middleA good place. I haven't been to my hometown in a while so I had to try something new here..My 1st time ever going here and I must say it was really good with Great, Attentive, Friendly Service and didn't break the pocket!! I loved their chips and salsa along with green salsa and their sweet tea is the BOMB!! There's always a But..I ordered cheese enchiladas and it was mainly tortilla with hardly no cheese..And a fly made his home in the restaurant. But other than that it was great!! I'll definitely go again!!

By far the best Mexican food in Yoakum. Routine customer here. Great food and service. Can get really busy thru noon hour so you may wanna go earlier or later.

My friend took us to this restaurant, and I was extremely happy with the quality of the food. The beef fajita was beautifully prepared - the meat was super tender [as requested], sitting atop perfectly caramelized onions, with each entrée rivaling any 4-5 star restaurant.Don't let the spacious interior fool you, the homey and welcoming atmosphere helps to create an experiencesimilar to a memorable holiday dinner with large potions/.. The staff is friendly, observant and eager to help.Claudia, our delightful and attentive waitress, got a 30% tip, as she does this establishment proud.All things considered, my friend and I have decided to make this our favorite monthly dining place.

Visiting from out of town and came here for lunch upon the recommendation of a local and a good recommendation it was! Friendly service, good food, great price. Enchiladas Verdes were spicey in a great way the atmosphere is relaxed and local. I don't know when we'll be back in Yoakum but if we return we will come back to Emiliano's!

The food is great but it's hot af in there. I would recommend them put some mini splits or fans in there.

This place makes my food happy!! If you are ever in Yoakum Tx, stop by and enjoy the many options of awesomeness. Love there jumbo break taco that holds my son over till lunch lol!

I got great service and the food was delicious. Plenty of place to set and can even bring a group.

They have great food and service. I would recommend the breakfast tacos and the carne casada!
