I drive by this beautiful building every time I go to the post office. Today, I ventured. Jackie was at the front desk and I asked her if she takes walk-ins. She said yes, and that she was ready to cut my hair right now. I thought this is going to be a nice afternoon. She brought me a cappuccino in a blue mug and then sat me down and we talked about my hair. She washed and then cut it. She blow dried it and then cut it some more. It was a pleasant experience because she "listened" to what I was asking for. The owner is a young woman from Brazil and has s dog named Bear. Her products are also from Brazil. Every one was kind, smiling and friendly. I made an appointment for another cut in two months.My hair is dry now and I am at home looking at it. I love it!! It's hard to cut wavy hair so that it lays down well. Jackie did a truly fantastic job because she cut it twice. She made all the corrections right then and there after she dried it. Thank you Jackie!!

This is the best salon I have ever experienced. I travel all over the U.S. full time, and discovered this gem last winter. I had to post the photo of their masterpiece. I am nearly 65 years old, yet my hair looks as though I'm much younger, due to the beautiful job they did on my cut and coloring. My stylist kept saying she was reaching for a "sunny" outcome. Little did I know just how amazing and talented she was. I am visiting Rockport again, a year later, and will definitely re-visit this experience. I miss Elegancia when I'm ready for color but am in Colorado or Indiana or Tennessee. Too far to utilize their expertise. Can't wait to see them again. They are more pricey than anyone I've used, but they are worth every dollar. ($200) plus tip

Have been going here for 2 years now and have NEVER been disappointed. The best salon hands down. Every stylist there are incredibly skilled. Not only are they brilliant stylists, they actually teach you about how to style, care for, and keep your touch ups all in order! Love Elegância salon! Every girl here cares about their clients and specialize in their own style/skills. I guarantee you, there's a stylist at Elegancia that will give you your hair of your dreams!

First! The salon it's self is beautiful! Then, the staff is amazing! Not only are they fabulous at what they do but they are also so kind! 100% would recommend!

I kept receiving missed calls from the Salon without anyone leaving a voicemail explaining the reason for calling. When I finally decided to call back, they explained to me that my favorite stylist is no longer there. They kept asking if I wanted to get on the books with someone else and I said no I would like to know where my stylist went. But they said "they're not allowed" to tell me, and refused to let me know where she went and kept insisting that I get on the books with someone else there. i'm HIGHLY upset that they did not let me know where she went and kept pushing to go with someone else. Above all, people will follow PEOPLE- not businesses, and I found it highly unprofessional that they kept trying to take away business from her and move me to someone else. It was definitely a red flag. The atmosphere is also very uncomfortable because you could feel the tension. It's very upsetting and unprofessional.

I originally wrote a review a couple months ago following my absolute horrendous haircut by Gabie G at this salon, but took it down because i felt bad. However after some time has passed, i have decided to circle back around because ultimately what i want out of this review is to warn people to NOT get a haircut by her. Very long story short, she majorly messed my hair up. I came in with very long hair and left with uneven thick blunt, flat, side bangs when i asked for LIGHT FACE FRAMING. Before she even picked up her scissors i showed her a 360 video of my hair from the last cut i had gotten, so she knew visually exactly what i wanted. I don't do anything fancy, i had grown out long layers with light face framing... i just needed a trim of what i already had. At the end of the cut i noticed she hadn't done anything with my face framing and so i mustered up the courage to ask her to touch it up. Off the rip, first cut, she chopped off a blunt thick section straight back to my ear. I now had a singular thick awkward side bang!! since it was she literal first chop, i had to see it through because she had to even out and fix what she just did. In retrospect i should've left uneven... it just got worse. It's been a couple months, i had to chop of 9 inches of hair so it didn't look like i had poorly distributed long hair extensions in, and have to hide my hair in many updos. I'm still growing out my hair, obviously. I was in such shock leaving that salon, i paid in full AND TIPPED because i was in such a hurry to leave so i could go sob in my car. Kinda salty i paid, and then had to pay for another haircut to fix it (which it helped yeah, but my hair still looks like crap) and all the many products to try and speed up this hair growing process. Oh and on top of everything she was very late to the morning appointment, the impression i got was that she forgot about it and then her coworkers had to call and remind her that a client was sitting and waiting for her. Overall it was a bad, horrible, atrocious, horrendous, traumatizing haircut by Gabie G.

I went in for my hair appt at 9am and they never notified me my hairstyle had left the salon. So I showed up at 855am and was informed nobody could do my hair and that I was out of luck. Please mind you I am from out of town and stayed in town just to get my hair done. It was very unprofessional!!!!!

I love spending time at this hair salon the service is amazing and the place is gorgeous.

Just spent 25 minutes waiting on someone to do my hair AFTER my appointment. This may be a fancy "looking" salon but the receptionist never even spoke to me until I got up and left. She said ma'am she is just about done... I have been battling breast cancer and was looking forward to a good haircut but just found out Tiffany is at Avidity -- so I will go there. At least I know they won't ignore me for 25 minutes!! This place has really gone downhill.

I got a haircut a couple weeks ago from Dana, and it has made a huge difference in the way my curls! =D My hair styles so much better and the curls last longer too. Who knew a good haircut could make such a difference? I wish I would have gone here sooner. Thanks for the make over!Also, the salon is really cute, the staff are nice, and the price was great.
