Been going to this place for years and never been disappointed. Breakfast carne guides tacos are great.

We visited this restaurant on a windy Friday night, hoping to avoid crowds at other places. It was barely occupied, only a few tables had customers. We were greeted and asked to sit wherever we wanted. Our waitress took our drink orders and we started reviewing the gigantic menu. They serve all the regular Mexican favorites plus a lot of seafood, salads and breakfast all day. We chose shrimp quesadillas, cheese enchiladas and tacos al carbon. The food was ok but barely warm; the cheese enchiladas suffered from too much tortilla (flour?) and not nearly enough cheese with a strange gloppy chile sauce. The shrimp quesadillas were bland and needed hot sauce for seasoning. The tacos were fine, served with a nice queso sauce. Service was good but English is not the first language here, so bring your best Spanish! They do not serve booze.Total for three plates and three sodas was $36.57 including tip.

Ordered at the takeout window. Person sounded irritated. Finally got our food after about 20 or 25 minutes. 2 orders of chicken fajitas for about 30$ and was so disappointed. Greasy and small tasteless portions. Would not recommend.

This is one that can easily be missed but if you pay attention, you will notice a parking lot full of cars. This is for good reason. Almost all of the cars are there because the people in them are eating at this establishment. The restaurant it's actually decently spaced and follow strict social distancing rules and regulations. The staff were so incredibly humble and it was like going into a relatives home. They have a large menu which features breakfast and dinner options. I ordered their Spinach and Eggs fish. This fish came with 2 sides of 5 steamed then grilled asparagus's with just a touch of salt, grilled potatoes that were seasoned with traditional Mexican spices and were slightly crunchy but browned a little on the bottom. The eggs were scrambled with the spinach mixed in and a touch of mushrooms scattered throughout every bit. They pair well with the two warm tortillas that come with the dish. (All tortillas are homemade). Ask for salsa rojo. It should come in a small bowl and will be warm and full of veggies.

This place is amazing! Great service, the waitress (Ana I believe is her name) was fantastic! The food was superb! This is the best Mexican restaurant we've tried in the four years we have lived in Corpus! We highly recommend this place!!

Very good Mexican food. I wouldn't miss eating here. The service is good. Affordability, quality and comfort. The quesadillas are yummy, the Diablo shrimp also delicious. So much to choose from!The staff is stellar and it's always clean. thank you El Sol

One of the worst breakfast experiences ever... chilaquiles were like corn chips with hot sauce, coffee tasted like water, eggs were like chopped tofu with egg shells in them and when I sent them back they got very upset. If you want to ruin your day stop by...

Today I had the worst customer service, my daughter ordered a sweet tea and it tasted weird to her so she asked if she could change it out. At checkout Marco charged us for both even though she didn't drink the tea. He said oh well she ordered it not his problem if she didn't like it because he's been serving it all day. He wouldnt give me my money back so I asked for credit card receipt so I can change tip he told me no but then did, I changed amount and initialed it. I proceed to take a picture just incase and he snagged it from me before being able to. He said he's the manager, I really hope not because it was a horrible embarrassing experience. I've never had this happen to me!!

Menudo is on point. Always clean. Staff is pleasant and efficient.Atmosphere comfortable. Lots of parking. Prices affordable

Over priced, small portioned, mediocre food. Staff are always joking and laughing about who knows what, while ignoring guests. Drinks go unfilled, food arrives cold, chips are stale, staff are rude and barely speak English. Don't waste your time, money or sanity. Go somewhere else, anywhere else, I'm going to.
