El Sabor De Mi Tierra

This place has become a local staple over the years. Mexican style home cooking with an array of choices for whatever your heart desires. Food always delicious and tastes home made. Tortillas taste like they make them in the back. On this occasion my order was to go and everything was correct as ordered. I even took a bite before I took a pic. Stop by and eat I'm sure you'll run in to an old school friend or make a new one. Bathrooms are small but always clean.

My team that I work with and I absolutely love this place the staff are ALL excellent. The service is fast. The food is always fresh. The food will always knock your socks off. This is authentic mexican food. The inside ambience is like a fiesta. This place is always PACKED at lunch. I definitely recommend you try it if you find yourself in the RGV!!!

I ordered a caldo de res for my mom and she really liked it. When I got there to pickup the caldo it was ready at the time they told me, service is good and didn't have to wait for the caldo. The restaurant had a delightful ambiance.

Omgosh! Stopped on the way out of town to grab a quick taco and so glad we did. Small Taco is the size of a burrito in some parts of Texas so order accordingly. Excellent prices and delicious food, coupled with some top-notch very polite Christian service. Really enjoyed the tortillas that were freshly made just like Mama used to.

Sadly Me & family only eat there in mornings! Very good breakfast food & great service!

Driving by and saw a bunch of cars at 11:10. That's a good locals sign. Humble place with wonderful staff. The food was outstanding. The beans to me are a test. Theirs are off the hook to me. I had the crisp tacos rice and beans for lunch. Super fair prices and I'm stuffed. Fresh veg well seasoned beef. Highly recommend the green sauce if you like a little heat and lots of flavor. My experience here was fast friendly and I will be back for the FOOD!! Drinks always full. Just. Deserve more than the stars they have. Try it for down home Texas Tex mex.

Food was ok, service is what's the main reason for the low rating. Waited over 30 mins for our order and then one of the orders was wrong so we had to wait even longer for them to correct. Would not return.

Came here for breakfast on the way to HRL Airport and didn't leave disappointed at all! Really fast service, food was fresh and still hot, and everyone was extremely nice who works here. I got the breakfast tacos Machacados, which were fantastic! Close to the airport if you're coming in or leaving, not far from the beaten path and really good food. I'll be back for sure!

One of my favorite places to eat at here in Harlingen! Service is always great and the food has always been very delicious. I've asked for certain plates to be prepared slightly different than they normally do and it was never a problem. In fact, they thanked me for the idea. It's a must try for anyone in the area that hasn't been there!

Great place food was great services was great. We were coming back from a car show and with trailer thankfully there was lots of parking space. Place was full but there is many tables and chairs so there was no waiting time on a Sunday morning. The table next to us had a birthday and the waiters came by to sign happy birthday to them which I thought was pretty nice. My husband ordered the chicharrón breakfast plate and he said it was really good the chicharrón was crispy. I ordered the chilaquiles which were also great. Kids had pancakes and to our surprise arrived in Mickey Mouse shape. Great place would come back for breakfast.
