Seemed like a nice clean place as we walked in, all went down hill from there. Service was slow to start, we got our food and that was the last we saw of her at the table. The beef taco had so much potato in it that it totally left a unpleasant taste. Wife agreed that her burrito was the same. Cheese Enchiladas were made with a really weird cheese, sauce was way off base. Rice had peas in it, not something I usually find in Mexican food. Beans tasted dirty. Even the chips failed, tasted like fried the day before. The only positive about my experience here was both the red and green salsa was very good. One and done.

Had breakfast today and realized I have not reviewed El Rancho. The food here is always amazing. I got the Jalisco omelette today super good. If you are looking for great tacos or traditional breakfast they have it all here. The wait staff is also very nice.

Very poor service, it took them 30 minutes after taking our order for them to let us know one of the items on our order wasn't available. There were four in our group, one received his food in a reasonable amount of time, right before them letting us know about the unavailable item. The other three were each brought out at separate times with the last coming out a little over an hour after the order was placed. The queso was awful, tasted like the canned nacho sauce my high school concession stand used to serve. The only reason it's two stars is the barbacoa tacos were very good with the salsa verde.

Excellent service. Food was above par and a solid 2. Overall experience and beans raised it to a 3 stars.

The rice is definitely the best I've ever had! Love getting the pork chop plate but I don't think I've ever ordered something that I didn't like. Definitely a good place to take the family. AND they deliver to most places in the area, when I don't have time to leave the office for lunch and want a hot meal they are my go to place.

The service was no bueno. We waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Once the food arrived we never saw the server again. The food was bland and not very good.

wish I would have read the reviews before entering this establishment. We seated ourselves, and about 5 minutes later we were presented with menus. We had to ask for chips and salsa, drinks and silverware. Between the four of Us we were given Four Spoons and a Fork. As far as the food...Cold and no flavorChips STALE and Salsa...Straight taste of CILANTRO. Guacamole was The Worst... Cheese Dip had no flavor. When they brought Our food only one plate had the correct order on it.In conclusion...EVERYTHING came out of a can. Nothing was homemade.Our bill for four was almost $70.00 and all replied 'We will never return'.

went in with some friends for breakfast ,and while waiting to be served, a giant black roach was crawling across the floor. omg, i left. if roaches are in the dining area ,you better believe ,they are in the cooking area too

I got the shrimp enchilada plate. They were able to customize it without cheese. The sauce was flavorful and the serving ample. The charro beans and rice were also very good. Another person ordered the chicken quesadilla plate and the serving was large and the items tasty. The service was friendly. The prices were reasonable. I chose this restaurant because it has the most extensive and varied menu of any of the Mexican restaurants in Pleasanton. It did not disappoint!
