El Patio Tex-Mex Grill & Bar

Saturday reservation @2pm for 8 and a high chair. Two of us got our table no problem, chips and salsa arrived within 5 minutes. But after 10 minutes of zero contact our server went to the table behind us (12-14 ppl) and got their written food order. All before acknowledging us or even giving water. After 20 minutes of us sitting se finally got our first order. This was a a constant pattern, we went to the hostess stand (who was on her phone the whole time) to get menus ourselves and we got the high chair. There was never more than 5 tables in the entire restaurant so I don't understand how service was THAT bad? And the food was mediocre, heavy on the Tex and probably 90% premade food for a high end price. Also the happy hour is A QUARTER off of the regular price. Such a joke. The enchiladas are ok, the strawberry margaritas were the only good thing, and our appetizers of queso and ceviche never came out so good luck ordering Wouldn't recommend.

I order from here every once in awhile, I'm happy with their food. I usually get an Enchiladas dinner and guacamole, both taste fresh and are delicious. My issues have been some inconsistency with getting my order correct, and also times when I have called middle of their posted business hours to place orders and the phone just rings, I've never known if it is a fluke or if they had to close for that day or something. Just kind of odd. ‍ But I still enjoy their food and they are very polite.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and excellent service. We are already planning to return for another visit. Thank you for the experience!!

So visited El Patio, today while I was at Jury duty. It was in walking distance to the court, I had time to waste, and I was hungry. The mistake that I made was I walked through the doors. I was greeted and the host was nice enough. She picked a table for me while I went to the restroom. If I had looked up at what the patron at the table next to me had on his plate before I had ordered I would have walked out. My man had a side of buttered corn. In a tex mex restaurant? No. Not even Elote style, straight canned or frozen corn with his meal. I ordered the plate with three crispy tacos and a cheese enchilada. And boy did it not disappoint on the crispy part. My taco shells looked like someone who stayed out in the sun too long at the beach. If crispy shells start off as yellow and you are supposed to warm them up and they come out looking like the color of brown suede boots. Those charros flat out gross and the rice tasted like nothing. It wasnt even the food that made me want to review them it was the service. The waitress I had was horrible. She took my order, brought my drink, my food and that was it. I dropped my napkin on the floor and i was looking for her to come by so i can ask for another and she was gone. I just wiped my hands on my jeans. I ate what I could and wanted to pay and the waitress was no where to be found. I lie. She was at the bar on a step ladder doing something with bottles. I heard her giving direction to another waiter be should couldnt be bothered to check in on me. So after 10mins of sitting there, no drink refill, no new napkin, no check........she finally comes down and I can see her reflection looking at my table to see if I was done and instead of interacting with me she went straight to the register at the front, printed my bill and said I can pay the cashier or online. This is probably up there in the top 5 worst service I have ever recieved at a restaurant. Its all good, I wont be back but since I dont live in that town I wanted all Jurors and Court staff to know this is what awaits you if you visit this restaurant. You have been warned.

Diablo Shrimp was good just wish there was more jalapeño in it to make it spicier. Also, the margaritas are HUGE!

Great place to go eat anytime, small place that really works hard to satisfy, we love daily special an the drinks are great

Horrible horrible food !! Don't eat here . I had green enchiladas super salty dried chicken and got charged extra for green sauce wtf?! Chicken fried steak was so disgusting. Not even my eight year old liked the coffee she ordered . No wonder this place was empty . Overall don't visit !!!

Over the top good, everything about my meal was perfect, the rice was cooked where every grain was fresh and visible, the charro beans were freshly made, my beef fajitas were cooked to perfection and flavored where you couldn't wait for the next mouthful. The grilled onions and tomatoes had a hint of sweetness. The hot sauce was excellent. I got the extra hot one. Looking forward to going back.
