Really good place to eat. Food is generally above average. The refried beans are spot on and properly cooked with lard. Tortillas are good but need a touch more salt. Bacon is mediocre unfortunately. They use thin sliced unsmoked bacon. Service was a bit slow.

Went for a midweek breakfast. It was busy but we got a table right away. Both got the breakfast tacos and a cup of coffee. Tacos were more like burritos as they were huge. Delicious too especially with the salsa. My husband had chorizo and egg while I had bean, egg, cheese, and potato. The tortilla was the star of the meal- tender and chewy in the perfect way.

Good 'ol MexTex cuisine is here. My family enjoyed the Delish taco salad flat tortillas, enchiladas and Mexican deluxe plate. A plus grade. Excellent customer service.

Simple good food, my ultimate favorite dish to order from here is the green chilaquiles, the service is always so good . It's small and quant but the food is so so good.

Family owned restaurant w great Mexican food and breakfast specials. Our family enjoyed their French toast w bacon Wed breakfast special (only 5$!) and I had their breakfast taco (more like a burrito). There was a little wait for the food around 20-25 min but it was worth it. Food was really tasty and no corners were cut. Tortillas and salsa were on point. French toast was top tier. Even the bacon it came with was thick cut and crispy, not at all skimpy. Prices are low. Very casual mom and pop vibes, had the older tables covered w Mexican tablecloths and plastic, Mexican streamers on the wall. Very homey and quaint. Was already quite full on a Wednesday morning around 1030 am but we were able to get seated right away. Service was very good. Would definitely come here again.

This charming family owned breakfast restaurant has been here for over 35 years. The food here is excellent. The staff are very attentive with keeping our coffee full. I would highly recommend this quaint and affordable restaurant.

Food was absolutely delicious. The pancakes were fluffy, eggs cooked perfectly, and has browns were good. Service was super quick and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

My first time here and the food was fabulous! If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this is definitely the place. Can't wait to try their breakfast!

A family run place for 50+ years. The cashier, who is very charming, is also the main waitress. Her mother is the cook. The there décor is casual. We ate breakfast there on a Tuesday and a Thursday. On Thursday a guitarist played a few songs which was nice. The food is very well priced even if you don't order the daily breakfast special. Over the course of the two trips there I ordered a veggie omelet and chilaquiles. Both were great and were fairly priced. Do yourself a favor and skip breakfast or for that matter just about any meal on the island. Instead take the short drive across the causeway and seek out great little truly local places like this one. It will be worth it.

Atmosphere was peaceful, staff were friendly, and food was delicious! Prices were reasonable.
