El Palenque No 3 Restaurant

Hidden inside a blue building. Waitress are friendly! Wonderful food and a great place to eat!

Stopped here for a breakfast taco. As with most Mexican places in corpus, El Palenque is locally owned and operated. Authentic experience with murals on the walls, Saltillo tile in the entry, and ca$h only. They have a myriad of taquitos, including "the Ralphie" which I'll have to try next time. I got my standard bean egg and cheese. This is one of 4 the least expensive places I've tried, $4 and change for a taco and soft drink. The taco was made to order and hot. The hot sauce was even hotter and unique in my experience at 77 local taquerias. Tortillas are fresh made on premises, thick, with some chew and a hint of fluff.

The tocas are were delicious and more the size of a burrito. The asado was on point and the price was very affordable. Our server was super sweet and was helpful. The tortas are small so keep with the tacos

This is one of my favorite places! Thick, soft homeade tortillas, enormous pancakes, thick bacon! This place is a legit Mexican food restaurant.

Tortillas are stupendous! Same as I remember eating here on family vacations as a kid.Wish I could've eaten more burritos but two is plenty!

Great food and great service, waiter Speedy is awesome and recommend beef fajita enchiladas and chicken soup.

Home made tortillas, beans...eggs cooked just as ordered. Hot sauce was the best. I'm surprised there was only 1 review, I guess its a secret gem. The place doesn't look appealing, but who cares when the food is so delicious.

Best kept secret in Corpus. Thick, soft homemade tortillas. Real beans, creamy and full of flavor. Friendly staff. The inside is beautiful with hand painted murals on the walls. Authentic and truly Corpus.

Amazing Mexican food! Sketchy building but the inside is like any other small Mexican food place. You get so much good food for a low price!
